I just had a tattoo by Dina! I love it! The artwork she does is amazing! But past that, the atmosphere at Firefly is very welcoming and relaxing! Their business is fun very professionally and they are all very friendly! It is very apparent that they care about their customers! I will be back! In fact I don't think I will ever go anywhere else!! Thank you Dina!!! You Rock!!

Best tattoo place in Indy. Very talented artists. I personally worked with Gerrit, whose work is amazing. He worked on a large back piece of mine and was very patient and fair with pricing. Have had many tattoo artist experiences and I wish I had had Gerrit to do all of mine. Quality work. Will definitely be going back if I can find something else I want.

I have waited over 24 hrs for a response to my email. Your concept of email first with no type of conformation creates bad business.
It caused anxiety and stress before I even talk to someone about something that's going to be on my body for the rest of my life. did my email go through? is the artist off? do they not want to do my work ? who the hell knows because they dont respond. so while I waited I went somewhere else that was more than happy to talk to me in real life. not good business and I wont recommend

Firefly Tattoo Collective is not what many people have in mind when they think of a tattoo shop. Think more art studio where the artists happen to be putting art onto your body. The shop is awesome...clean, light, airy, great views, great art. No blaring metal music, smoky air, or scary looking artists (that was actually my first tattoo experience!). Dina has done 3 pieces on me, and each experience has been great. I did have a healing problem with one of the pieces, a reaction to a particular ink color, which Dina figured out and has avoided using ever since. Dina, Laura, and Gerrit are all amazing artists, and I honestly think that whatever you could dream up for a tattoo design, these three could make it a reality for you. Could not recommend them any more highly. Great people, great place, amazing art. Glad to have found them and to be associated with them.

I absolutely love this place! All of the artists there are very friendly and they actually listen to you. The atmosphere is perfect. I enjoyed the fact that we weren't interrupted at all because they don't have phones in the shop. I'm going there for all of my tattoos.

I did not get my first tattoo until I was 35 years old so it was obviously something I didn't do lightly. I did extensive research to pick my artist and was willing to drive a significant way to get the best possible art. I chose Dina and have not regretted it for even a second. I sent her MANY pictures and ideas of what I wanted and I am pretty picky about things. Dina created an original piece of art that has far exceeded my expectations. My husband had several tattoos from a variety of other artists but he is now also loyal only to the amazing folks at Firefly. Dina created a tree of life cover for his 90's barbed wire that is unbelievable. Each time we visit Dina, we leave excited for what we want next. She is very kind and patient. She is so creative and her art is beautiful. When people ask why I drive all the way to Indy, I tell them it's because Dina is the type of person I'd be friends with, not a a creepy stereotype of what a tattoo artist is like. Firefly is the kind of place that has an easy comfort (despite the pain involved in the process). Each of the artists has a unique style but the quality of each is superb. I would trust any of them to create a tattoo for me without question. I couldn't give a higher recommendation!

Spent a great afternoon with a very friendly staff: as well as the customers at Firefly. Gerrit is a very talented as well as passionate artist, and his work portrayed this. He took my ideas and added his thoughts and advice and I came away very pleased. I drove close to 5 hours round trip to have the work done and would highly recommend Firefly to anyone thinking of doing a tattoo.

I just got my first tattoo ever at Firefly. The experience was wonderful. Laura, my artist, was very professional and courteous. The studio is bright, cheery and just a pleasant place to be. There was no walk in customers, no stopping to answer the phone during my inking. I couldn't imagine a better way to get inked.

Some of the most talented artists in Indianapolis! Each artist has a clear style so check out their online portfolios. But plan to wait a few months ... Most of the artists have quite a waiting list for new clients. They're that good --and worth the wait whether it's a new project or a cover-up.
