Duneland Studio is quality. Their shop is very safe and clean. The staff is friendly, professional, and very talented. Steve creates amazing art. My tattoo is beautiful. It’s colors are vibrant and just so well done. I highly recommended Duneland.

This studio is always over booked. It needs to hire more artists....by the time there is an opening, you will have changed your mind altogether....there is more to life than waiting for over a year to get a tattoo....do yourself a favor and pick a different studio.

I've been tattooed at a number of different very reputable shops in Chicago and I'd gladly drive out to Valpo anytime to get work done at Duneland instead. Fantastic artists who are down to earth, super chill vibe, not pretentious but extremely professional. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Joe Fryday specifically has done a bunch of my work and is great to work with. He's patient and attentive and super laid back but extremely professional. After getting work done by other artists in the past, I can't bring myself to go to anyone else now. Joe is the best in the biz.

I went the other day and got my nipples pierced. I was super nervous and didn’t really know what to expect. The piercer was super sweet, made me feel so comfortable. She was fast, precise, and just over all wonderful!! Best experience I’ve had by far with any piercer I’ve had! 10/10 from me.

I HIGHLY recommend the piercer Jess. She has done 3 of my piercings and is so sweet. Every time I go in she makes me feel so comfortable and explains everything thats going to happen perfectly. She also allows you to come in for a jewelry change and gives great advice if you think something is up with the piercing.

This was my first tattoo. For many years I have wanted to get a tattoo but had not found someone that I truly trusted to design and then tattoo that design. I waited many years and Steve at Duneland Studio was well worth that wait. I gave him the ideas of items and things I wanted to include in the design. I appreciate the time he took to get to know me before he began the design. After that, he really came up with the perfect design. I could tell he took his time in developing the artwork. Each element has some meaning for me. It has been the design I’d been looking for for over 15 years. It was beyond incredible, it blew me away and still blows me away everyday. It far surpassed anything I could have dreamed of. He was able to combine everything seamlessly, making it incredibly cohesive. The realism and attention to detail is second to none. He was extremely professional throughout and did not feel that the process was rushed at any point. Steve is in all sense of the word, an artist. I cannot wait to get started on another piece with him.

I’m going to say it, Jessica is one of the best piercers in Porter county! Very informative, and talks you through the piercing. Go visit her if want your next piercing!!

I went here thinking a different business was here but I thought why not check it out, I need a tattoo anyway. Went in and was very warmly greeted at the front desk and from there someone helped us right away. We got the option to look at each artist's work to choose who we wanted which was great! Then on the day of my tattoo, I can't say enough good things about Steve! Polite, professional and still able to carry a conversation while working! His work speaks for itself. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!

What a great experience. Duneland Studios is the most professional, clean, state of the art tattoo shop in the Midwest. Steve did an amazing job designing the perfect piece of art to commemorate my breast cancer journey. Highly recommended.
