Treated my friend horribly after one of the artist messed up on the tattoo. The tattoo is lopsided and un even. Couldn’t apologize for the mistake made. Unprofessional customer service.

I have known of Lefty for many years. He did my first tattoo and someone else who worked for him has done my foot tattoo. What I love best about this place, is the family atmosphere. They treat you more than a customer. I have also not ever met a person that is always looking for room for improvement. Lefty is versatile in his work and is always working hard to become even better. I have smaller tattoos but I have had no issues with them fading or in their appearance with how they look over time. It's been since I was 18 and now I'm 29. Another thing I love is his willingness to rectify an unhappy customer rather than running away from it. Looking for honest recommendations and feedback with great work, I would suggest Leftys.

Lefty's Tattoo is very professional and made me feel completely comfortable! I just recently got my first tattoo done by lefty himself! I had gone to many other shops around town and no one seemed excited or interested in my tattoo, it made me very nervous, nervous enough to back out. I stumbled upon Lefty from a friend who got a tattoo done by him, I stopped in and he was extremely nice and made me feel so comfortable about getting it done. I scheduled an appointment and I am beyond happy with the results! I LOVE MY TATTOO, I am going back here next month to get it finished and I am so thankful that I found Lefty and his shop! I would recommend to anyone and everyone! GREAT EXPERIENCE!

Just had the most spectacular experience at Lefty's. Fit me in pretty quickly and Lindsey did an incredible job with this Rose. Definitely coming back to her to finish the colors into it. Super excited!!!!

I was skeptical of coming here at first, being that I'm from out of town and have no friends or family in the area, I went in here blind. When I first walked in the door, I walked over to the fish tank, and noticed how dirty it was. That threw up a red flag for me. But I continued anyway. I was greeted by one of the artists' shortly after. I cannot recall his name, but it was not lefty or Steve, and he was very polite, and pointed me over to the photo albums of everyone's work. After shortly looking it over, I decided to book an appointment for the following day.
Based on my first impression, I would rate 4 of 5 stars.
Appointment day: I walk in 10 minutes early, to be greeted by my artist Steve, who had tried calling me to let me know I could come in later if needed (I had skipped out of class to meet my appointment). Great customer service. 5 of 5.
As I'm waiting for him to setup, I am watching closely to see what kind of prep and cleaning procedures they use, as i have gotten infections from previous artists (NOT AT LEFTYS); and had seen it very thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. 5 of 5 for cleanliness.
During the tattooing, it took a little while to get the stencil correct on my hand. Nothing Steve could've done to make any different. The lining was very sharp, and not anywhere near as painful as I was anticipating. Steve was very light on the lotion and (I can't think of the name of it, but the stuff you put on a towel to wipe the area clean with, which also adds a cooling sensation.) i wish he had added some but I continued anyway. After we got to shading, it started burning up a little bit, and he did start using the mystery cooling liquid.
Tattoo quality 4.5 of 5. Reason being, one area was shaded backwards, from what I believe may have been caused from me bleeding a bit more than usual.
Steve made me feel very comfortable, and as soon as everyone started talking made everything a lot friendlier and time started flying by. Before I knew it, I was all done and time to leave. I could hang out here all day with these guys. It was a pleasure coming here.
Positves: great customer service, great artists, fun and friendly atmosphere, very welcoming, very very clean, and modern equipment, including a comfortable tattooing chair!
Negatives: could use a little cooling gel, the fish tank may drive away customers who look for cleanliness, the front set of seating could be updated a bit.
Summary: I could a great piece for a very fair price, I had fun, it's clean, and I enjoyed everything about going there. I would absolutely recommend this shop.

Lefty is always willing to listen and draw up all the details you want in a tattoo. He is honest and willing to produce masterpieces! Several of my family members continue to return to Lefty when they are itching for ink because you can't get any better then Lefty!
