Absolute Tattoo

I had made my own designs which both were simple lettering 3 easy designs. One was just a small heart and infinity on both sides basic. Basic lettering on others. Artist was an apprentice which was fine with. Overall she wasn't bad. But the simple heart with two infinitys she wanted to resize the infinity symbols. I didnt realize had also changed the size of heart and reduced it as well. Only good thing is free touchups that can maybe be fixed. I was quoted $180 which thought was a little steep for an apprentice. But kept in mind the possibility some shops have two hour minimum. Realized later this one did not. The apprentice looked at my designs and told me I was quoted wrong and price would be $320. Was in building hour and a half tops with less than an hour needle time. I am active duty military and not from here. In search for an experienced artist for a cover up found one with more than 4 decades experience. Charges $110 an hour with 2 hour minimum and clock starts and runs just with needle time. For needle time this apprentice charged me $320 an hour in cash. Or in excess of since was less than hour total. Work was good for most part. One not centered but not horrible. One heart was reduced too small. Will absolutely need touch ups. Was grossly overcharged by an apprentice. Could have got done by a much more experienced artist for fraction of a price. She was available but maybe would have been worth the wait for another artist or shop entirely.

This is just the first session however I am very pleased with the out come so far. Great on detail. They all have great personalities. Great environment. And jake made sure I was comfortable the whole session. I have had three tattoos from three different shops before I went to absolute. Now I will never go anywhere else. Highly recommended. Artists are skilled but service is terrible, attempting to request some examples of an artists work will not be honored, attempting to get a quote is unlikely, attempting to get a concept design is a definite no with them literally saying “our artists will only do a rough sketch on an iPad the night before or day of before beginning the tattoo, for $150/hour rounded up”. Attempting to book an appointment requires 4-5 months of waiting. Either the person manning the email and phone are just extremely unprofessional or they simply lack any concept of courtesy and don’t care.

While I’ve seen good work from others in the community, I would never get a tattoo from this place, their service is just that atrocious. And while the price of $150/h is fair, I expect to receive a simple concept design and proper customer service.

Best shop in town. Staff are amazing and only quality comes from this shop.

Jake is the best artist around. I got a half sleeve from him and he touched up my other one making it 100x better. He took an idea that I had and turned it into a wicked cool tat. His shading and realism is hard to beat. Very easy to work with.

Jacob did a killer job on our tattoos! He took his time, offered a fair price, and his customer service was impeccable. My daughter was nervous at first but he did an amazing job calming her fears, chatting with us about the history of tattooing, and made the experience unforgettable. We will be coming back!!!+

Me, my daughter, and my sister came in to get sunflower tattoos to honor my mother, who had passed 6 days previous. Jake not only accommodated us, he talked to us and got a really good feel as to who we were and why we were there. The whole staff was awesome! I will definitely be back!

Recently visited Absolute for the 1st time after having heard good things. Got a piece on the back of my hand (first hand tat). Jodie was my artist and did a phenomenal job- I left totally satisfied.

Where they really set themselves apart was with customer service. This was my first hand piece and I work in a restaraunt. I slacked a little on my aftercare and had a tough heal (not uncommon for hand tats). I hit these guys up with more than my fair share of questions/concerns and they were always more than happy to help. Ultimately the owner Jake gave me his personal number and when my hand was ready, he gladly touched me up free of charge (though I always encourage you tip your artists!)

Fantastic experience. These are professional artists that don’t slack on customer service and live up to the hype. Will definitely return.

I went to Absolute to get my first tattoo, and I felt right at home. Being only 17 at the time, I was a little skeptical of tattoos and things like that, but my mom and I went to Absolute and loved the place. The workers were clean, professional, and really fun to be around. I was only there for about an hour, and it was an experience that I will never forget. Amazing family feel to the place. And the artwork was exactly what I asked for. I even (accidentally) picked at my tattoo a little bit and it's faded in those places, but the owner said I could come back anytime and get it touched up for no charge because I got it done there. I'm definitely going to Absolute again!

Brittany is the BEST for ALL piercing needs! She has done some of mine and the placement is perfect! She’s VERY CLEAN and very nice! Thank you again! See you when I’m back in town for who knows what next!
