If only zero or negative stars were an option. I walk in and ask about a piece and Rob tells me I can’t get what I’m asking for. He said he wouldn’t do the words with the piece that I wanted, then I said okay we can just do the art and told him I wanted white added with the shading and he tells me “ha well then you better go talk to someone else” extremely rude and unprofessional. My wife and I have given this place so many chances and went back and every time we go in we’re met with bad attitudes and they treat us like we’re bothering them by coming in. I’ve even offered to pay them to draw up suggestions for me and they tell me “no, you need to have it drawn out.” Just very dismissing, not friendly at all. 10/10 would not recommend.

I went to carters to get my very first tattoo in memory of my father, let me tell you Frank (tattoo artist) did an amazing job. He asked what was my price range and showed me what he could do within the price range. He did an AMAZING JOB! He also made sure I was comfortable and felt good throughout the whole process. 10/10 would recommend

From the first email (very quick response) to completion of service, this place was very professional. Ample, well lit parking (located in the back), clean and welcoming environment. Dough Boy was the artist for my son and I cannot thank him enough! It was a family affair and he made us very comfortable, before we knew it my son was done. Very quick, very clean- we love it! Definitely worth the drive from TN to KY. Thank you Dough Boy, see you again soon!

Wes Carter is truly one of the best tattoo artists in the state and nation. Seriously. If you live anywhere NEAR Bowling Green, KY and are wanting a tattoo - dont go anywhere but Carter's Tattoo Company! There is usually at least a 2-3 month wait if you request Wes - so call for an appointments!

Went here for my first tattoo, I was really nervous. (I suffer from anxiety attacks) I let my artist know and he said "thats alright let me know if you need anything." And he talked with me through the whole thing, I over worried but as soon as he started on it I felt at home, it was not as bad as I thought it would be and my tattoo looks amazing. (Still in the healing stage) but can't wait to come back and get another. Definitely highly recommend this shop.
