High Resolution Tattoo

Kurtus did my tattoo and did a fantastic job from start to finish. I sent him just a basic picture of what I wanted and he added his own spin on it based on what I said in my consultation. I am in love with it for sure and definitely making this my go to tattoo shop

I have never had this kind of experience with the professionalism, attention to detail, and healing process until I went to the incredible, dexterous Markus Bankhead! I have eleven tattoos but the one that has been a humiliation was Salvador Dali's 'City of Drawers'. I wasn't expecting a miracle because I honestly thought it was hopeless but I put my trust into Markus to cover this up the best he could and I just cannot believe that he was able to take an already quite large tattoo and turn it into the EXACT painting. He is,in my experience from previous tats, incredibly skilled. The pain was very minimal plus It's only been one week and I have never had a tat heal this quickly. His knowledge of aftercare was the complete opposite of what I was always told to do before...and it paid off. I plan on doing two more cover-ups and he is the only one I will go to from now on. I wish I had a close-up of my before but this man is incredibly talented!

The shop is very clean and everyone is very friendly and it's obvious that they take their job seriously. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and everyone I know!

I did extensive research on tattoo studios in Baton Rouge and New Orleans areas and decided that I really liked this studio based on reviews and pictures of their work. Upon researching I also discovered that half the artists left, and opened their own studio called Leviathan Studios. I booked an online appointment with High resolution a month ago. I got no reply. I called several times during studio hours. No answer. I left voicemails. No return call. So after weeks of not being being able to get in touch with someone I made the hour long drive into Baton Rouge, and "walked in" during business hours and surprise surprise no one was there! I had enough and went over to Leviathan and spoke with Needlez. He booked me for the following week. Everyone in the shop was very friendly and accommodating, and of course was not surprised to hear about my experience with this studio. You can't do business with people who don't want to do business!

Me and my boyfriend went in there today to speak with someone about possibly covering up a tattoo. First off, the receptionist couldn’t stop what she was doing long enough to see what we needed. We then spoke with a artist named Jordan about doing a coverup and hei was about the rudest anyone could be. We just wanted a idea to see if the coverup could be done but instead he suggested to get the old tattoo removed then he’d do the tatto we’d like. He said to go get a shop card and call him after we got it removed. So we go to the front to find a card and they didn’t even have any and the receptionist didn’t care to help. This place needs to focus on customer service and just overall their general attitude. They weren’t even busy at 3pm when we went in there. Why get a tattoo removed when we just found a shop not even a mile down the road that would do cover it up no problem? Jordan didn’t even seem to be interested and obviously didn’t want our business which is fine. 10 out of 10 I would never recommend someone to go here. If you can’t take the time to consult a future client, you need to find a new profession.

If i could put negative stars i would. Atmosphere is very nice. I called 3 times before i walked in . The tattoo i was getting is very small takes very little time. I arrived 55 minutes before closing. When i called i asked when they closed and they said it depends on the tattoos. 3 artists wrapped up as i sat there and did not have the repsect to take me in. Why say you are a walk in clinic when your artists do not care about walk inside time? I drove 45 minutes to get there and i waited an hour seeing multiple artists being free and just had other things to do . I may add it was not closing time yet and my tattoo would take 15 minutes. It is just a birthday in Roman numerals and intials of my children very small. Which i already have some lines i wanted to add my newest child. So i waited and waited and then was basically told in w nice way to leave. Come back tomorrow? I do not think so! I drive all the way across town and am invisible why would it drive back to that kind of treatment. Total waste of my time. Suggestion do not say you stay after . And don't say you take walk ins. Or make your artist have respect for the walk in that has sat there an hour's time. The tattoos look great but the service sucks.well i didn't get any dlso the lack thereof.

The artist are extremely talented! My artist was Markus Bankhead and did and absolute phenomenal job on my tattoo, the detail is incredible! I don't just have a tattoo I have a piece of art! The shop is extremely clean, their attention to detail when it come to a sterile work place is incredible, my doctors office isn't this clean! There wasn't even dust on anything, not even lent on the a/c ducts. Trust your artist. You can't necessarily get exactly what you want. When I went in I had a general idea of what I wanted. I even had a copy of a tattoo that i had gotten off the internet. My artist advised my that I should be looking at art and paintings based on what I wanted. After doing some homework, listening to my artist I finally got the tattoo I always wanted and better than I could've hoped for. I put my trust in my artist and we discussed what I wanted and he invisioned and went with it. If you want a high quality piece of body art I strongly suggest High Resolution! One more thing to add TIP YOUR ARTIST! You tip your server when you go out eat, you tip your hair stylist, your bartender, it only seems logical to TIP your artist who is giving you a piece of art on your body that will be there for Life!

Kurt and the boys/girls are always fun to hang out with. I go to Jordan and have gone to Jordan since he was a wee young lad! Except when I leave the country and get other tattoos ...

We succeed!!! Well after two day of research and phone calls to several tattoo/piercing shops, Upon our entrance at High Resolution's we were greeted by two very nice, respectful gentlemen, whom were very very professional personnel, explained everything in detail, to the point I didn't even have a question to ask:) and the most sanitary place EVERRRRRRR!!! They were very appreciative, for our business. Over all experience there was "PRICELESS"!

Jordan was really cool. He really tries to understand what you want and asked me multiple times about my idea so that I wouldn’t be disappointed. Everyone there was super friendly and I would love to come back and sit for more. Planning on coming back and getting a bunch of work done. (:
