I’ve never been to a friendlier shop. They were welcoming and patient and not snobby how tattooers can be sometimes. Very happy with Josh’s custom work too.

Got my helix done by them in January and absolutely loved it! Going back today for my second lobes and Heather was so helpful on the phone! Especially being femme presenting i’m always a little weary in tattoo and piercing shops in nola but they are some of the nicest people i have ever met and i have never felt more comfortable in a shop like this!

Was on Vacation in New Orleans and figured to get a tattoo to remember my trip! Saw Electric Lady Tattoo had bunch of positive reviews and noticed Chris de Angels work and knew he was the person to do my tattoo! Got a traditional voodoo doll of course.
For sure recommend him if you plan to get a tattoo!

Spoke to a really nice man the night before that was super helpful. Told us a price range.. we showed him the photo of the small tattoo going on the corner of my hand. He said they could def do it and come back the next day they would have a few artists available in the morning.
Went back next day. Spoke with a not so plenty woman. Showed her the same exact photo and location. She said they don’t recommend the location if it’s a first tattoo .. not sure if she meant on the hand or in general. I mean don’t you have to start with ONE in the location? She suggested getting it another place which wasn’t what i was told the night before or what i told her i wanted. And then she just stood there looking at me.
Definitely other shops in the area which cannot be much more unpleasant than she was so I’d suggest going to those.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! My artist made me feel so uncomfortable and they make you pay before you get your tattoo. I wanted a simple tattoo, and for some reason he put a black box around the people in my tattoo. I have so many other tattoos, none with backgrounds. I got a tattoo that will haunt me for the rest of my life here. RUN AWAY.

My son and I were in New Orleans and wanted to get matching tattoos...after searching for the best tattoo shops, we both came up with the same conclusion...ELECTRIC LADYLAND tattoo.
I went in and had a piercing done on the side of my nose....the way the gal took the time to discuss everything with me was so impressive. Helen at the front desk was so welcoming, in fact, everyone we came in contact with was absolutely phenomenal!
Never have I been so informed and treated with such kindness and respect. Looked at the work of all the fabulous artists there, couldnt go wrong with any of them.
My sons tattoo came out fabulous, mine was good but had a little issue with it as my skin isnt what it use to be....anyways I sent some photos and explained to the owner that although good, I was a little disappointed.....The owner took time out of his busy schedule to call me back, and I will say this....NEVER have I dealt with such a kind, caring considerate business owner! NOT ONCE did he make excuses, he took full responsibility and worked with me to find a conclusion.
I AM SO IMPRESSED with this place and the entire group of people that work there! If you are searching for not a good but FABULOUS tattoo shop.....GO there...things happen in life, and whats important is how if theres a problem it gets handled....
I actually have forgotten what the issue was as the owner was so understanding and kind! THANK YOU for making me a believer in good business people...now days its impossible to find!

My first tattoo was here and the shop was super cool 😎 very classic vibes and all the people working there were chill! Shoutout to Scottie for drawing up a badass version of what I wanted done. Very clean and organized super professional will definitely return!

Booked for two friends and myself. All of us got black line work style tattoos, sized pretty small. All three of us loved the way our tattoos came out. The staff was nice, and they saw us right on time. Devin did mine she was great. Would love to go back!

Was visiting NOLA, came across EL and asked if they could fit me in while I was there. They had an artist (Marc) available and after a brief discussion of an idea, I got an appointment the next afternoon. His concept and precision/colorwork were excellent and I am totally pleased with the results! Check them out!
