Jason was amazing to work with. He was very responsive and helpful with making our tattoo vision come to life and on such short notice. The environment in the shop was something we have never experienced before. The conversations were great and the people were as well. Will definitely be coming back the next time we are in NOLA!

AMAZING! The amount of love and soul that went into this shop is so deeply apparent. All the artists are of such an incredible caliber and it's so obvious now much they all value the quality of their work. I got tattooed by Jason and I couldn't be happier, his line work is so incredibly clean. 10/10 recommend, best tattoo shop in the city.

Everything you want from a tattoo shop! Jason has a a vision and a plan for this place. Definitely a tattoo shop to look for. It’s appealing on the eyes and has a good set of artists to support it! Jason (the owner) is steadily putting out great work that tops the last. The rest of the crew is just as talented. Warm welcome, good atmosphere and amazing work! 100% a loyal customer! Moved to New Orleans recently and have been looking for a good tattoo shop to get some work done while living here. Found Tough Love on Instagram. Booking was easy and a great experience. My friend also wanted a tattoo and was able to get in as well. Enjoyed the space and atmosphere this shop has. Was very happy with my beautiful magnolia that Jason Ryan did on my leg. My friends tattoo from Alex Rice was also so beautifully done. Really great experience overall! Can’t wait to go back to get another soon.

Love Tough Love! I live in Lake Charles, LA, and am more than willing to make the 3 hour drive to come here for their quality work. I’ve gotten two tattoos there, one from Casey and one from Jason. Both tattoos turned out phenomenal; they can provide any type of tattoo you’re looking for here. Atmosphere is really clean and professional. This is definitely my new go-to place for ink.
