Kiel is out of this world talented! The shop is very clean and comforting. Working throughout the design process was a breeze and he completely executed my vision. I just had him complete the line work on my sleeve and can not wait for my next shading session. The other shop artists portfolios look top quality as well. Had a great experience both times I came in for tattoos! I was on a work trip and both times James and Kaley were wonderful and fun to get tattooed by. Kaley tattooed me both times and did a great job! The shop had a great atmosphere and if I come back to Maine I'll definitely stop by again! Highly recommend!

James and Kaley were super nice folks to talk to, and we appreciate their flexibility in fitting us in and professional advice on design details. It's not hard to tell that they're passionate about continuing to improve the shop and providing quality work. Both of our tattoos were solid and we had a great time getting them.

Worst tattoo I have ever gotten. Never have I ever had a tattoo fade so unbelievably fast. Pure underneath amateur level. I have tattooed myself better with a home kit. No exaggeration at all. Below is a picture of the tattoo not even a year out. How is this acceptable for a tattoo shop with license? Will be doing everything in my power to put them out of business. This is beyond amateur. This faded pos tattoo was 700$ can you believe this? Don't let these other photos of fresh ink trick you, mine looked just as fresh too, and faded awfully fast and faded horrifically. 0 stars all day long.

Don't recommend this place unfortunately, because I got the worst first impression of a supposedly professional shop. Made an appointment for a specific time because people run on a schedule. Got there right on time for the place to be empty, all but Lexx and his client who he was currently still working on. He quickly asked about what my fiance wanted for her tattoo idea, and I got the impression he totally misquoted her estimate on the phone. After a few minutes of being there he and the client were talking about how they wished someone else was here to deal with us, not help us but deal with us. Told us we could grab a seat which were all put away, and being in a new shop obviously we weren't going to paw through an empty shop to find a seat. 20 minutes goes by and never said another word to us, still working on the other clients tattoo. So we quietly left and we will not be back or be recommending anyone to this place. You will be disrespected and unwanted, along with a nasty faded tattoo. What a joke of a shop! Should be shut down the way they treat their clients, this is unbelievable!

I would recommend an appointment with Joe at Raven’s Thorn. The place is clean and has a friendly vibe. Joe was very kind and made me feel comfortable. He paid close attention to detail. The lines on my tattoo are sharp. Great work. He was easy to work with and made my first tattoo experience awesome.

I want to preface this by saying I don’t usually review places but seeing as how this shop has some questionable previous reviews, I thought I’d put my two cents in. This wasn’t my first tattoo but it was my first time getting work done here. The shop is very clean and nicely decorated. It has a super relaxed and comfortable atmosphere; I felt totally at ease which is important for me when I’m getting work done. My artist was Ket and I had the pleasure of having her work on my arm for the entire day-over 9 hours (per my request)! She did a beautiful job and she was so fun to work with. Really glad I chose her as my artist. Her brother Keil was also there and was very kind! He kept checking in and asking how I was doing. All in all they do great work here and I’ll definitely be going back for more pieces from them! 10/10 experience(: Thanks guys! ♡

All of the artists were fantastic. They do amazing work and they are great people. Would highly recommend and will be returning for my future tattoos.

Joe is a really great artist that has done 3 of my tattoos! He has a great attention to detail and makes sure that you are comfortable throughout the session. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to get some ink.

I called and made an appointment almost a week ahead of time for a specific time. When I got to the shop the employee quickly asked what I was looking for while working on another client a few minutes later had let me know it was ok to find a seat while waiting. Since I was new to this shop I didn't find it appropriate to paw through the empty shop that seemed to have all chairs put away looking for a seat. I waited a bit longer and the artist never spoke another word to me while I waited and told the customer he was working on that he wished that someone else was working to deal with me not help me but deal with me. At that point I did not feel welcome in the shop or comfortable with an artist that seemed annoyed at my being at the shop, so my fiance and I quietly left the shop and with no plans to return after feeling very uncomfortable and unwelcome. Due to my experience I would not be recommending this shop to any family and or friends. I would give zero stars for today's experience if I could.
