Tom does a phenomenal job! I am currently working on a full sleeve and he’s helping me step by step on design, placement, ideas, etc. He’s given many of my friends amazing tattoos! I’ll upload pics once my sleeve is more complete.

Such an amazing place, on vacation and wanted to get a tattoo! It came out amazing Tom and his team were so nice made such wonderful conversation and made us feel like family! I just might go back for one more piece!

This is my 3rd year coming to Old Orchard Beach Maine. We always stop by Mad Hatters Tatoo to see Tom for some great conversation and top notch ink. He has done 5 tribal tattoos for me and I love them all. Everyone at the shop is professional and courteous I highly recommend this as your first stop

This is my favorite tattoo parlor in Maine! Brought my Fiancée in today to get her second bumble bee to complete her "Bees Knees" tattoo she had started last year by Tom and he did a phenomenal job. I got my second tattoo from the shop by Taylor a truly incredible artist who was amazing too work with. I am over the moon with joy on how my tattoo came out and look forward to visiting the Mad Hatter's Shop again soon too get more amazing artwork!

This shop holds a special place in the history of Old Orchard Beach. One of the last remaining true walk-in tattoo shops, Tom and Ken go out of their way to make you feel at home and create quality art how you want it. Go in, put your name on the list and be happy, you won’t regret having work done by these awesome guys.

I’ve gotten two tattoos at Mad Hatter Tattoo Studio, and I can honestly say I will never seek another tattoo shop. The artists are incredibly talented, and professional!

I love the pieces they have done on me. I brought my own designs and they advised on best placement and were honest about what styles would work with my designs and what wouldn’t, which is helpful for someone who isn’t familiar with the tattooing process.

Prices are appropriate as well 😊 will definitely be going back for more! Highly recommend

While this tattoo was not my first, it was the first and only tattoo I will get from this shop. I got this tattoo 9/1/21 and took the picture yesterday. The line work is horrendous and this is a simple piece. You can see that the lines are inconsistent and bumpy. There are a couple area with a little blowout. He had issues with the gun before he started and I assumed it was working properly before he put it to my skin. However, when he finished the tattoo he informed me that his pauses during were due to the issues he was having with the gun. Even if he was having a bad day, this is something that is permanent on my skin. I now have to go pay someone else to fix it because I don't want to look at this and see the poor line work everyday.
He didn't discuss any type of aftercare. When I asked about how long to keep the bandage on he pointed to the aftercare instructions that he had never mentioned to me. This paper indicated the tattoo would be healed in 4-6 days which is nowhere near how long it takes to heal. There was nothing about using a fragrance free soap either. If someone were to get their first tattoo with this type of attention to aftercare, they would be more likely to have irritation and get an infection. Just go somewhere else!

Tom is the man!!! If you are in the old orchard area in Maine and want some ink go see top at mad hatter!! He’s a very nice guy reasonable and fair!! I’m from Vermont and love to go see Tom he does great work! I highly recommend going there!!
