The work I had done by Tom Beasley is amazing. I’m sincerely blown away by it. He’s also very light handed and a gifted artist, I can’t say enough about his skill. All the other artists are super friendly as well. All in all an excellent shop that I will definitely come back to in the future.

Tom's great! He did an amazing job with a tattoo cover up and was very flexible with my work schedule! Already got a second tattoo from Tom after the the cover up was done. Definitely recommend and will be going back!

There is a very good reason this shop has been open for forty years. Tom Beasley is a legend. Mick is amazing and Jacob could do any tattoo thrown at him. This shop has strict sanitary standards and the atmosphere is fun. Artistry is first class and each tattoo is meticulously administered by caring staff. I’ve gotten several tattoos at Dragon Moon an every one is a beautiful work of art.

My mother in law wanted to get her first tattoo for her 70th birthday. When my wife first met Mick she knew this was the right spot. They went together and had a great experience. Tom took great care of them for their first time and the work looks great! Based on their experience I went and had Tom do one for me. Top notch, very clean and professional. A+

I have had 2 tattoos done by Jacob and love them both. He is great at listening to what I want and creating the perfect piece. Jacob is also good with customer service and multitasking, while there for my appt there were several walk-ins seeking advice and info and he was able to help them quickly but friendly. My husband has one tattoo by Jacob that he loves and 2 by Tom that he also loves. The quality of work done at this shop is just amazing. If you're thinking of going anywhere else, don't! I was going to go to another shop closer to my home but after speaking with the artist at that shop I felt uneasy, like he could care less about my ideas for my tattoo. After just one e-mail with Jacob I knew I made the right choice.

If you prefer Cracker Barrel over a home cooked meal, Dragon Moon is not for you. This isn't mass produced tattooing for the sake of tattooing. This is a true Mom and Pop establishment, family owned and run, where all things are made with love, care, and the kind of attention that you would expect from a doting grandparent.

I got my tattoo - my first one ever, as a note - from Mick, the proud Matriarch of Dragon Moon. When I first walked in for a consult, she was behind the counter with her daughter, and greeted me with such friendly warmth that I expected she might tell me I'm looking too thin and offer me some leftovers. She herself is covered in tattoos, many of them faded, but each with a story that she'll happily tell you (using some lovely and vulgar language if you don't take offense, which I didn't). Their studio was clean and crisp and set up to be comfortable and homey. Or maybe it was her attitude that made it feel so. I'm not sure, and I don't really care. Both she and the space are welcoming.

I had a prepared design, but was open to alterations. Mick was funny and friendly, aware that this was my first tattoo, she regularly asked me, before, during, and after, "How you doing? You okay?" She was adamant about staying true to the original artist's style, and always asked permission before altering anything in my design. It showed a professional artistic respect which I greatly admired.

She also had a focus on, "What is this going to look like in 20 years?" coupled with, "I want you to wake up every morning, loving this tattoo." That kind of forethought tells me that everyone at Dragon Moon has integrity in their work, that they're not doing this for a buck, but because they love the art of it.

I cannot recommend this establishment enough. Go there if you have a brilliant design and need a brilliant artist. Go there if you have an idea that you need fleshed out by someone with almost 40 years experience. Go there if you're just itching to get inked and want to make sure it's as high quality as can be. Go there to get the tattoo equivalent of Grandma's homemade roast beef sandwich, because we all know the rule - Grandma's food is always the best.

I will never go anywhere else but dragon moon again. I had a bad tattoo and wanted to cover it up. I went to another shop with a design and they told me "Yeah no problem that will work" but it was obvious they didn't really care. I talked to Tom and he was honest and told me that my design wouldn't be able to cover my tattoo. He worked with me and got me a great piece to cover the old tattoo. Dragon moon is one of the best tattoo shops I have ever been to. Super friendly, professional , very clean, sterile & they have some of the best artists around. I have been going to them for years 10+ . Mick is amazing and friendly & Jacob is one of the best artists I've seen around. There's some artists in their that have been tattooing for 40+!!!!
Its a Maryland treasure for tattoos that's hidden in Glen Burnie. They are one of my favorite tattoo shops of Maryland.

Tom has done amazing work for me over the years. Most recently, a few days ago, he tattooed an absolutely stunning water dragon on my inner leg. It completes the half sleeve on that leg, with a Koi, cherry blossoms, bamboo and rough waters. I'm so excited, I love it!! He is such an amazing artist that I travel more than an hour just to get to his studio. My first experience at Dragon Moon was about 17 years ago. Mick tattooed Dancing Bears around my ankle. They still look great, many years later. I would never consider going to another tattoo studio.

The bottom line...
When I visit Tom and Dragon Moon, I leave with a piece of gorgeous permanent artwork. Not just a tattoo, but much more.

I never thought I would get a tattoo but then years after my mom past I decided I wanted something I could touch and think of her. So I found a yellow rose tattoo and contact Dragon Moon studios. Jacob was the one who sketched my design with my moms name imbedded in the vine. He made me feel relaxed and comfortable the whole time, joking with me since it was my first.... of soon to be more, so he said. I love my tattoo- thank you so much Jacob.
