Matt is an amazing artist. He has done both of my tattoos and no matter how far I move from this shop in Pasadena, I will only go to him!

I love his work and the most amazing part about Matt, is he really cares about the customers pain tolerance level. Matt numbed me every 30 minutes so I could manage the pain.

I will only got to Ink Life and how that in the next few years I can make it back to Pasadena for him to put some more beautiful artwork on my body!

This will always be my go to, if I'm getting a tattoo or piercings. They are extremely clean, and everyone knows what they are doing. It is a friendly and fun shop to be at!! I just left an hour ago from my second tattoo session and I am in love with all of the tattoos I have received. I couldn't just recommend one artist because they are all amazing! I couldn't recommend them enough!!!

This is the best shop I’ve ever been too. Matt and his wife Alex have done the most work on me, and I cannot support them enough. Always clean, professional, and genuine. The creativity and talent here really shows. I’ve been going to Matt for about 4-5 years, and even though I’ve moved 3 hours away, I still come back to this shop just for them. Highly recommend

Love Alex, Matt, and Josh at Ink Life! I've been tattooed by both Alex and Matt and pierced by Josh. Great service, they listen to what you want and advise you on what's best for your tattoo as far as placement, colors, etc. They are extremely clean and take their time with each customer. Josh is awesome and the sweetest person. He's truly concerned with clean and accurate piercings and I would recommend him to anyone wanting to get pierced. Planning on going back for my 4th tattoo at Ink Life.

This place is absolutely amazing! I had my cover up done here and the artist (Matt) asked me what I wanted and to be honest I had no clue I just knew I wanted the other one covered, his idea was beautiful and it fits me so well, I love it and will definitely be going there for my tattoos from now on, I know many people that go here and all of the artists work is very talented! I have also gotten a dermal done there, it’s perfectly centered in my chest!

I’ve been tattooed by Matt on 5 separate occasions. He’s always been awesome to me, like we’ve known each other forever (we had never met). My first experience with him was with a 6 hour tattoo. I came in with an idea and he made that idea turn out even better than I had imagined, plus he bought a cheesesteak midway through.
The next time I got 2 tattoos on each rib cage on the same day and he only charged me for one. The next time I came in with a drawing of what I wanted and he did exactly, to a T of what I wanted.
Another time I got a big piece done and had an allergic reaction to a new after care ointment he had in shop and was hospitalized. Matt was constantly checking on me making sure I was alright, it was just really cool of him I thought. He was genuinely concerned. He had worked with me before and nothing like this had happened but I could tell he felt horrible, it wasn’t his fault, just a simple accident. In the end the piece turned out beautifully, I get compliments on it almost daily.
The next time I came in he actually had an organic aftercare product specifically for me. He’s just gone above and beyond seemingly every time. Also, he’s always done my little touch ups, if necessary, for free.
Just an all around good dude, great vibes in the shop, and absolutely beautiful tattoo work. I send all of my friends and family to him, he’s done 25 tattoos on recommendations from me and all of them tell me how much they love their tattoo plus enjoyed the shop. You all will love it here!

Came here as a walk-in for a tattoo with my friend. The staff was super friendly and made the stencils really quick, our tattoo artist was Nick! He was super funny and was very knowledgeable/accommodating. I was quoted 75 for my tattoo which isn’t that bad of a price in my opinion. Overall the studio was super clean and professional. The staff definitely knew what they were doing and knew how to keep the facility clean/sterile. If you end up going here just remember to bring some cash to pay because they do not accept cards.

I 100% recommend the ink life artist to all my friends and family! The shop if kept very neat and the artist continuously clean before and after clients. The artists are very good at listening and pulling through with what the clients want and the art work is very well done. The ambiance in the shop is so welcoming and they will have you laughing the whole time! I had a four hour session the only really felt like 2. Would for sure recommend all the artists!!

After a lot of searching I stumbled upon Matt Jones on Instagram. I loved his clean work, so I reached out about getting a half sleeve started. I drove an hour + to meet matt and discuss ideas. The first thing I noticed was that the shop was clean. Matt was very welcoming. We discussed a plan, and a few months later he executed an awesome piece. I get so many compliments on the work. I can’t wait to get back in to have it finished. The only problem with Matt is, is that he’s so good appointments take forever to get! I’m not holding that against a talented artist :)

Great atmosphere and the staff are very nice and friendly! Matt, the owner, has done all of my tattoos and I wouldn’t go to anyone else! The shop is full of very talented artists with very creative ideas. Definitely recommend!
