I have been going to Capitol Tattoo for a few years now. I absolutely love the place and the people! Shop is very clean and was great with covid protocols. I get tattooed by Mark, who is both very professional and talented; very good with line work and small detailing. I highly recommend this place.

TK rules! He was super kind and helpful when I messaged him on the recommendation of a friend to work out a large tattoo (my first). He made an amazing design and was super receptive to tweaks, while still offering his opinion for placement and size (much appreciated). He was able to book quickly, and I'm so freaking happy with the result!

TK at Capital Tattoo is an incredibly talented master artist and highly experienced professional. I contacted him upon the recommendation of a friend as I was hoping to have an older beloved tattoo (inked in Richmond) fixed as it held very special meaning for me, but had bled together in a way that I did not like. TK was SUPER QUICK in his response to my text inquiry and requested photos so that he could understand even before I came in what I was looking for. When I came for my appointment, TK and the entire staff was extremely warm and welcoming. TK took a nice amount of time to look over the original tattoo and explain why it was not a good idea to go in the repair direction that I had original wanted. I asked for suggestions and he came up with a solution that I could have never come up with on my own and in actuality made this tattoo even more meaningful to me. Then (after making sure that I really wanted to go forward, with no pressure) he did incredible freehand work that has impressed everyone at work and all of my friends. Truly exceptional. I am beyond impressed. This man is so incredibly talented, you would be foolish to trust anyone else with a piece of art that will be on your body for the rest of your life. I'm so excited to go back in November for my next project

TK is an awesome dude. Super reasonable, straight up with you. No BS, and he's here to help, my only complaint is that he had me laughing through the whole experience (i.e. not a real complaint.) Will absolutely be returning for my next tattoo. Super nice guy, reasonable pricing, and quality work. 10/10 would recommend, and would see again!
