I am picky when it comes to where I get tattoos and piercings, but Capitol Tattoo is probably one of the safest places when it comes to COVID protocols. For starters, I was the only customer in the shop during my tattoo. Not only that, but they make sure to take your temperature, fill out waivers, wear masks and gloves, and they clean their materials in front of you. AMAZING.
Now, TK is incredible. He brought my tattoo idea to life in an instant. He had it drawn out and ready when I arrived. He also doesn’t want to waste your time. Ask him the price range and he will tell you. Ask him about the tattoo details, his opinions or ask him facts, etc., and he will be straight up. TK truly just wants you to have your tattoo as pictured in your head and he will be flexible and work with you.

The experience was great, and everyone was really friendly. But I cannot day that I am happy with the work I got. The linework of my tattoo is very poor. The artist Mark is a super down to earth guy but his work can be better. My tattoo has finally turned 3 years old.

My father passed away and I wanted a tattoo to represent and show the things that we have done together and that I have great memories of. Marco was wonderful! He listened to what I wanted and was very caring. He did an amazing job on my tattoo! I'm bringing my son in next month on his 18th birthday to have Marco give him a tattoo.

I called to request a lip piercing and was told to come right in which out any questions. After driving a half hour to the location I get inside and was told that I couldn’t get the piercing I wanted bc he didn’t feel comfortable with that type of piercing. Although I respect his honesty it would have been nice for him to ask me if I was interested in wearing a hoop. Why not probe your client before having them come in. A simple questions could have saved me an hour.

Absolutely dreadful, I walked into the shop for an appointment I had and was met with utter hostility. My appointment magically was cancelled for the 4th time in a row, you only can enter that place if you are a certain person.

Had a wonderful experience here. Details were gone over before anything got started, the pricing was not outrageous, and it was a comforting environment for receiving a tattoo. Mark was great just as I had read before choosing this place, he has real pride in his work. Only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because I've never paid for a tattoo before getting it.. And because I'd like to meet other artists and see how my other sessions go. Definitely try it out!

Mark did my back tattoo. It was my first tat ever! I wasn't sure about doing colors, because of my skintone, but Mark made it work. It's been a week since my tattoo and the colors actually look brighter than when I first got them. He works fast as well. I highly recommend the shop. Pay cash, though. 😬

I got my first tattoo and lip piercing done by T.K. he is so amazing. T.K. made my first experience easy as he talked me through the whole process. My unalome tattoo is so lovely. I went back two weeks later and got two more and now I have an appointment for tomorrow to get my fourth one. I love the cleanliness of the shop and the over all ambiance. I love my new tat! Mark is so talented and funny too! I explained what I wanted and he sketched it perfectly! I would highly recommend that you request Mark to do your tattoo! I had a great experience!
