Blue Magic Tattoo, Piercing & Permanent Cosmetic Studio

Got a tattoo on 7/12. I can't say enough good things about the studio. It is clean and inviting. The staff is both friendly and knowledgeable. Kevin, who tattooed me, does awesome work. Both professional and personable, I would recommend him to anyone. I will definitely be going back there at a future date.

Went to Casper to get my earlobes re-pierced and it was an awesome experience. Easy to book online, super quick service, and friendly staff. Casper was very knowledgeable and skilled. I'll definitely be coming back here for more piercings!

I have had tattoos done with Nicole before at a previous shop and she does amazing work. Had an appointment the other day with DJ and was so impressed. The shop is clean, the staff is friendly and djs work was amazing. I have a list of tattoos I want, and will be going to blue magic for all of them

Throwing together a tattoo proposal at 3am as thoroughly as I could muster, I fell asleep expecting nothing but silence in return as my efforts thus far had thrice been in vain. However, as I slept, the world seemed to recalibrate, finally sensing that my punishment had gone far enough. I woke up to the world allowing me to schedule a consult a mere 3 days after initially reaching out.

The consult was quick and easy, as was the entirety of the brief brainstorming session that I embarked upon with Casper, the tattoo artist. I didn't have many specifics about what I wanted, but he was able to take my inexperience and uncertainties and mold them into something beautiful.

Just days earlier I had nearly accepted that I would not be able to get this tribute piece done before her birth, and here I was experiencing the sweetest relief over what surely seemed entirely banal from the other side. It might just be a lilac branch, but it almost felt like I was getting a glimpse of fatherhood a month or two in advance.

I scheduled my appointment for a few weeks later, coincidentally coinciding with our final ultrasound. We went to the OB, liked what we saw, and I headed here to make it official. Lila would be appearing in symbolic tattoo form months before her physical arrival. This seemed like a pipe dream at a very recent point.

The actual tattoo appointment was a breeze. Casper is a professional with a very steady hand. He's respectful of his clients, and we seemed to develop a solid rapport quite quickly. He's more than happy to open up and have a good chat about horror films, Yung Lean, and who played Velma in the Scooby-Doo movie from 2002. He's also more than happy to stay silent and get engulfed in his work so I can day dream about being 10 and having a huge crush on Linda Cardellini.

As the time passed, I slowly got more and more engrossed in the Casperian world he had managed to cultivate in what felt like a 1' x 1' room. Tattoo artist convention ribbons from years past, a myriad of iconic horror figures displayed proudly, and abstract takes on cult film movie posters all allowed me to peer into the mind of Casper the artist.

I initially caught wind of his presence almost immediately when his playlist went from Kodak Black to blink-182, and I realized he was truly a mind so overly in love with the arts when it later went from Kesha to Korn. Finally putting all the pieces together, I was happy that nobody else had gotten back to me. This is someone whose work I would proudly display, completely unbothered by the poisons of modern life, a true cognoscente of art in every form. I was happy to pay him for his work.

Casper mentioned that he's experienced a lot of seemingly unjust bad karma, feeling as though his empathy just always comes back to bite him. I hope this wall of text can kick-start some good karma flow. He docked $50 off at the end because he felt bad thinking about all the freaking diapers I would end up having to buy. Karma actually started there because I said thank you and just added it on to his tip. Tip your tattoo artists!

Only negative is try not to be 6'7" if you come here because I was literally longer than the room

I have had nothing but problems with my 3rd holes since getting them pierced months ago. It took months for my ear to stop hurting, which did not happen with the 2nd holes that I got done at a different place, and I now have 2 of the scar tissue bumps where the holes are which should not happen with lobes. I was one of 4 people who got piercings and 3/4 of us have had problems, the only one without was because they just reopened what she previously had. This is very sad to me because everyone in the shop is a delight but I do not think their jewelry is up to the standard it should be.

Had a great experience today with Casper (in his piercing capacity.) He was very kind, made me feel at ease, and I will definitely go back. Highly recommend.

Kevin did an amazing job with my script!! He was so kind and respectful. He also did an amazing job teaching the apprentice the proper way to tattoo!! His son also tattooed my best friend and did amazing also!! I will definitely be going there again to get more tattoos!

Arrived a little early for my appointment with Casper, but he was able to take me anyway! Business was clean and my piercing was done in a private room off the lobby. Casper was super kid and answered my questions! He walked me through the process step by step so I knew what to expect! He was also super clear and helpful when explaining the after cafe process. I will definitely be coming back! Thanks for such great service! :)
