Sovereign Arms Tattoo

I walked into Sovereign Arms a week prior to this pictureI looking for a Artist able to design and tattoo Mandala and I showed some examples. They were quickly to assist me and workout an appointment for me and told me they would size me up on my next visit. I dropped a deposit on my way out the door.

Today I got this wonderful piece done and I couldn’t be happier with the result. To put it simple, The Price-Expectation ratio is more than satisfactory.
-Clean work environment
-Professional Work ethic
-friendly and easy going atmosphere
-cooperation and willing to implement changes to the design

These are the four points that would summarize my visit today.

I almost feel that 5 stars doesn’t do Sovereign Arms enough justice, because they completely exceeded my expectations.

I highly recommend this to anybody. and if you are looking for a Mandala Tattoo ask for Hunter.

Im sure this wont be my last visit!

My mom and I got a tattoo in memory of my mom‘s brother, my uncle Jeff and we were so pleased with Ryan!!! It was my mom’s first tattoo and she had the best experience ever! We will most definitely be coming back!

My sister had an appointment here and the overall experience was not great. I’ve been tattooed many times all over the country and it was just... odd.

First off, she didn’t sign any paperwork or anything when she got there. She had an appointment made ahead of time and shes well over legal age to get a tattoo so it wasn’t a big deal... but strange.

Second, she had a reference to another tattoo the artist had done on someone else as what she wanted on herself. She had expressed there was a few points she wanted to modify so she wasn’t getting the same thing tattooed on her. He had agreed and the stencil he printed out was accurate to what she wanted. This is where things went a little south. He didn’t ask if she was ready and just started tattooing... usually when getting a tattoo they ask if you’re ready and then ask again if it feels ok! Which he did ask if it was feeling ok but not first if she was ready.

After the outline, things were looking good and he started to do the shading and color. He made artistic integrities that she didn’t necessarily want and didn’t ask her opinion. He should have at least asked if that’s what she wanted as it wasn’t on the stencil or reference. It’s on her forever, he definitely could have ok’d it with her. I understand letting the artist do what they’re paid to do, but not changing it from the reference completely.

The whole interaction felt rushed and poorly thought out. It felt like she was just money in and out the door. She had a pretty rough experience. The outcome, although well done (quality wise), it wasn’t what she wanted. I’m not giving a 1-star because they were clean and the staff seemed nice.

Got a spur of the moment walk in tattoo. the design I had done turned out better than I had imagined it would, thanks to Ryan Stout. definitely planning on heading back as soon as I can!

Great experience and beautifully done artwork. Dylan gave a great consultation beforehand and the aftercare instructions were the best I have had with all of my tattoo experiences.

Got my first tattoo here yesterday. Dylan couldn’t have been more friendly and knowledgeable and cool to work with. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to get some work done.

This is THE place to get your tattoo in GR. Love Gareth, and the whole crew is so nice and professional!

I liked this place and definitely plan on going back there. Just make sure you make an appointment! It can get a little busy sometimes and you can have to wait for up to 3 hours or longer because of people with appointments.
