Mikey at A Different Drummer Tattoo did a awesome job on my tattoo, you have to make a appointment unless want to do the waiting game on walkin day, well worth making that appointment. Only shop in town that will work on me.

Received a tattoo today and I couldn’t be happier! The artist was a very cool guy and he is so very talented! The tattoo he gave me went above and beyond than anything I ever had in my mind! Every single person from the apprenticed to the artist teaching are completely professional and so very passionate about the work they’ve doing. They uplift each other and just an overall great vibe throughout the whole place! Different Drummer is spectacular

Me and my husband went in for our anniversary. We were both first timers and Cameron and Mack were amazing to us. They got us done at the same time. They were so professional, really good at making us feel relaxed and calm. My nerves were more rattled than my husband's. They were both very excited and sent a lot of encouraging and good vibes. Everything was clean. The pricing was very good. Super reasonable. We were a little late showing up to our appointments but they didn't give us any trouble about that, they didn't rush to make up for lost time and still got us done quickly. Can't wait to go back and get more work done!

OK people, let me just start off by saying that I have 40 piercings, from my ears to my torso, and multiples below the belt. I keep it cute, but it's a lot, I know. I've been worked on by many people, male and female, from DeKalb, IL ; Kahului, HI ; Columbia, SC ; and yes, many more locations, but also Cape Girardeau, MO...which is what brings me to this review of Lucas.
When I was young, I had cartilage piercings (helix) done with a gun, which blew out my cartilage tissue. I tried for so long to hold on to them, having multiple piercers try their best to rectify the situation with a needle to fix what the gun had damaged...but the $#!+ always ended up inflamed, sore, red, etc. However, I decided to pay a visit to A Different Drummer.
Not only was Lucas knowledgeable, informative, explanatory, sanitary, and above all, professional, as is the entire business, but he's also a person who you can tell actually cares about your (my) experience. He spent so much time with me, talking to me as not only a client, but a person with genuine concerns. I really don't think I've ever gotten such an involved consultation like that before.
But of course the best part? I couldn't have asked for more satisfactory results. They don't hurt, sting, or irritate me. They haven't bubbled up. They've healed so fast and so adequately. I honestly still can't believe it, a month later. I was so scared to take that route again, like, "Do I really wanna put myself through this yet again? Haven't I done this enough times? Give it up. It's just not going to work. Do I really wanna trust another person to do this? Do I wanna go down this road again?!"
Well, YES!! Lucas took the wheel and it was a smooth ride. Again, so professional. I will most certainly be back, and I suggest to anyone reading this review who wants to have a top notch experience to visit him as well. You WILL NOT be disappointed!!

I have been there and I have gotten 3 different piercings. My helix, my lip, and my orbital. They did my orbital very wrong, my helix was very uneven to the point when i went to a different piercer she informed that my helix was the worst she had ever seen, and my snake bites weren’t even to each other. do not recommend!!

I went to different drummer for my first tattoo and I’m defiently happy I did. The artists and the workers are very kind and very good at their job. I’m definetly coming back!

I went to a different drummer a few weeks ago to get my tongue repierced after having to take mine out due to a car wreck and needing different scans done. I didn't catch the piercers name, however he was extremely nice and answered all of the questions I had. The guy who assisted me when I first got there was also really helpful and incredibly nice. The shop is exceptionally clean. I will definitely be going back to get other work done. My tongue healed quickly and the swelling only lasted a couple days. While I was being prepped for the piercing I was extremely nervous, but it was done so quickly and very little pain. Had little afterwards and no issues at all. I highly recommend A Different Drummer if you want to get any work done.
