Awesome Environment! Showed up for their Walk-ins, met with Evan, gave him my ideas and what I was wanting. He came up with a design even better than what I had envisioned. Evan was clean, professional, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. I’ll definitely be back!

This is hands down one of the best shops in KC! You feel welcomed the moment you come into the shop. They’ve created an open space atmosphere with great music and have filled it with positive vibes and pure talent. My favorite parts were how clean the shop was and listening to the artists hype each other and the clients up about what they were getting done or working on. You can tell that everyone there is very knowledgeable and loves what they do.
I got a forearm tattoo done by Stephanie and it turned out incredible! I changed my design plan a few days before the appointment and Stephanie was more than accommodating. I came in and she provided a few different sizes and talked me through what was going to look the best. It was very easy to trust her and the vision she had as her talent speaks for itself. She did a great job of ensuring I was comfortable every step of the way. Not to mention she was down for the Puddle of Mud songs lol
I know I will definitely be returning to Gold Cathedral for another tattoo in the future!

Literally amazing! If you’re getting your first or any tattoo—come here! The environment is very clean and welcoming. I have anxiety and was very nervous walking in, however Zach was very welcoming, friendly, and overall so chill that my nerves disappeared. I sent him the design I wanted and he did exactly what I wanted and how I wanted it! It was my first big tattoo so I was nervous about the pain however Zach constantly asked me how I was feeling and doing and made me very comfortable! Again, get your tattoo here, and book your appointment with Zach! His work is amazing, so worth it. Thank you so much!!

This place was great! I was tattooed by a very talented artist named Stephanie. She was super cool and funny and made me feel very comfortable during the experience. The tattoo came out better than I even anticipated. She was very patient with re-sizing and perfect placement. I would definitely come back and would probably only request Stephanie. The shop is also very cool. It’s very spacious with exposed brick and old reclaimed church pieces. There’s a lot of awesome historical tattoo photos and various traditional tattoo art pieces displayed. Music was on point and also added to the experience. All in all, would highly recommend this shop, and Stephanie in particular.

Got my first tattoo today from Zach. I couldn’t be more pleased with the result. Zach was extremely helpful and made my vision come to life. These guys know what they are talking about, so make sure to get their recommendations regarding your tattoo. On top of that Gold Cathedral is clean and has an awesome vibe. I look forward to my next trip there!
Update: Have been in a few more times. As my guy Zach says "i have the tattoo bug". Zach did one for me today that is cooler than I could have imagined. I just gave him a direction and let him take over creatively and he didn't disappoint. If you haven't I highly recommend letting Zach and Evan(saw him recently, he awesome too) and get creative with your tattoo. You won't regret it!

I went in on a Saturday for a walk-in tattoo. Everyone in the shop was kind and welcoming, and the shop was super rad and clean. Stephanie was patient and helpful talking through my idea and did an amazing job with designing and tattooing. I'll be back!
