I came for a walk in tattoo this week with Evan and left with a beautiful new tattoo. He did such a wonderful job helping design my idea and really paid attention to the little details. I was a little nervous because it was my first tattoo and everyone was so kind talking me through everything. Great people, great vibes, great music, great studio. Can't wait to come back for my next!

I had an appointment for a pretty big tattoo here. It was my second tattoo and I was still pretty nervous. The lady who did my tattoo was named Stephanie. I found her on Instagram and really liked her work. She was not too openly friendly or comforting to me. She just walked up to me and showed me the design she created and asked if this is fine. No introduction or anything. When she started tattooing she never asked if I needed a break or if I was doing okay. I think with tattoos, especially bigger ones, the artist should be considerate of the person. I am also an anxious person and just felt weird. I don't mind that she did not talk to me while she worked because she was focusing, but I just did not feel welcomed. The tattoo did turn out great though. She also did not tell me the price of the tattoo until after we were done which also made me nervous. ALWAYS make sure you know the price before getting anything done on you. She was a very talented lady and did a great job, but the way she did things I did not like.

This was my third tattoo with Zach Arlan, and he never disappoints! Beautiful work, amazing conversation, and A+ professionalism. Gold Cathedral is a cool location with a fun, comfortable atmosphere. 11/10 would recommend Zach and Gold Cathedral!

I am so glad I found Gold Cathedral! I had been struggling to find a tattoo shop and artist that really matched my vibe in Kansas City!
The owner and all of the artist were so welcoming and Interacted with guest even if they weren't there for them by greeting them, seeing what they were getting, telling them how good it looks, etc. I have been working with Evan and he made sure that I was comfortable and really communicated with me during my visits there. I would honestly recommend anyone here because of how good their work is!

Took my little sister here for her first tattoo. We were walk ins on a Friday afternoon and there was no wait! Evan did our tattoos and did a wonderful job. So glad this is where we went!

Great experience at Gold Cathedral today! I went for a walk-in tattoo and from the moment I stepped in, I knew I made a great shop choice. The atmosphere is very chill and laid back, and they play great music lol. Evan did my tattoo and he was simply amazing! He was so kind and welcoming, this was only my 2nd tattoo so I’m still new and I get nervous but he made the process so easy! He drew a great design and the tattoo came out so clean and beautiful! He was also very thorough when going over aftercare. I will definitely be back to get more ink from Evan!

We walked in to be acknowledged incredibly rudely by a gentleman whom works at this business. Any business that cant be at the very least cordial, will never receive my business. My husband and I immediately walked right back out the door.
