Golden Stag Tattoo and Gallery

Worked with Matthew and everything went really well! My first idea didn't pan out but we did some brainstorming together and found something else, and I'm super happy with how it turned out! Nice chill guy to work with, definitely will be back for more ink.

I went in for my consultation with Lindsey and I was immediately comfortable! The place is very clean, inviting, and has a nice vibe. Lindsey was very nice and patient- I'm so excited to work with her!

I would definitely recommend this tattoo shop. Steve is the owner he did my tattoo. We communicated through email and had sent some pictures so he had an idea of what i wanted. He did an amazing job explaining how it would look shaded. I had to do 2 sessions, hes very patient. I absolutely love my tattoo!! Thank you

Not enough communication. I made an appointment about a month in advance to get a tattoo done on my 21st birthday. I had sent a sketch to give an idea of what I wanted and asked two days before the appointment to see what the artist had drawn. I got no response. The next day I asked again and still got no response. I had to call and ask them to send it to me and then I didn't receive the photo until 11pm that night. The photo looked almost exactly like the sketch I had sent them so they basically just copied it which was not what I wanted. The sketch I sent was meant to give a basic idea, not be the actual tattoo. I had wanted it to be vastly improved on since I'm not the best artist. I explained what I wanted changed and sent a few reference photos of other tattoos I found online to give them a better idea of what I was going for. The artist then says that they can't do that because it is to realistic and basically cancels my appointment the night before, giving me no time to set a new appointment with another artist in time for my birthday. I had gone thru the artists portfolio on their website before hand and they had many realistic drawings, one was even black and white in a similar style to what I had wanted, so I didn't see why this was out of the scope of their ability. I thought I had been descriptive enough and given enough detail for them, but apparently not. I feel if they had sent their drawing sooner when I first initially asked for it then we could have realized it wouldn't work sooner and had time to get a different artist at the shop to do it instead. I realize they are busy and have other customers, but they should still be able to answer and respond to a few texts to ensure all of their customers are happy and satisfied. In the end this ultimately ruined my 21st birthday, which was supposed to be a fun and special day.

I have gone to this tattoo shop for my last 2 tattoos and they have never failed to make me go home happy! Colby has done all of my tattoos that I’ve gotten there and he is AMAZING! Not only is his art phenomenal but his personality is too. He’s able to make me feel comfortable the whole time! I absolutely love this place and plan on coming here for the rest of my tattoos!

A really great place with a focus on art and quality tattooing. I love the ability to experience a gallery, as well as have access to some of the best artists in the country. Colby is a true diehard fan of tattooing and its history, which greatly shows in the quality of his artwork/tattooing. Multiple friends of mine have been praising this shop and I definitely see why. It's great to see a shop continue to participate in shows and events nationally! Customer service, professionalism and cleanliness is top notch!

A coworker of mine got an insanely good tattoo here so I had to check it out myself. I was blown away. Service was incredible, everyone was friendly and attentive, and even though the tattoo I got was fairly simple, it was done perfectly and quickly. Will definitely be going back for all future tattoos, and recommending all my friends to this great shop.
