Got 2 black tattoos from Jake a year ago. One was his original design one was not. He was quick and his tattoos felt like butterfly kisses. A year later it still looks great. Came back again from Florida and got another one on my shin last week. Another of his original designs, love it. Looks great and didn’t hurt at all. Definitely will go back again. I recommend this artist and shop 10/10. Also everyone that works there is nice and the bathrooms were clean af. Both times. Posted pics are his 2 originals

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! I got my industrial done for the first time ever. The piercer was so nice and so sweet. They made sure I was comfortable with everything that was going on. It was the best experience ever. Then after I was able to get a matching tattoo and they were so great! They had time even though it was last minute. I would definitely come back as I was very pleased with the vibe and the way they handle clients! I’ll so come back!

Got us right in for a couple walk in tattoos. Friendly staff and welcoming environment. Long story short, if you're in Lawrence KS and wanting to get a walk-in tattoo, don't waste your time and make the drive over to KC to Working Class. Lawrence KS tattoo shops have no clue what "walk in" means or having dedicated walk in artists. Most weren't even open on a Saturday afternoon. We weren't looking for cheap necessarily and our tattoos were literally 2 letters, but Working Class's shop minimum was half that of Lawrence shops. Other shops should be taking notes from Working Class. Will definitely stop back in when visiting. Thanks!

Absolutely LOVED the atmosphere! Heidi did a beautiful job on my Snail. Everyone in the shop is wicked cool and I'm DEFINITELY coming back when I'm in town next. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!!!

My friends and I came to KC on vacation, walked into Working Class, and got a helix, conch, and tragus pierced. Rachel did an AMAZING job - the piercings were perfectly placed and professionally done. I've had a lot of ear piercings done, and this tragus was by far the easiest. Rachel was perfect. Get your piercing done here.

I came for one of their Friday the 13th discount specials and was so impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff during such an unimaginably hectic day. The shop was immaculately clean and everyone I interacted with was incredibly outgoing and friendly. My heart goes out to the artists on crazy shifts like that and they made the experience so lovely for all of us clients. Please go support these folks!
