I have been going to Higher Ground Tattoo for the past couple years. The shop is always super clean and has a welcoming vibe to it. Nick does an amazing job and really takes the time to make sure things are done right. He’s super personable, friendly and overall an amazing artist/person. The other artist in the shop also do amazing work. If you are looking to get a new tattoo or are a first timer, I highly recommend visiting Higher Ground Tattoo you won’t be disappointed.

Higher ground is my favorite tattoo shop in Vegas! Super clean shop with great artists. I’ve been going to Nick for years and he is always amazing. I have been going to my artist Nick for over a year, getting a half sleeve of black flowers and lace, 3 colored Lily’s on my wrist and a color pinup thigh tattoo. He has been able to pull every idea out of my head and make it something I really love! His line work and shading is incredible. He makes you feel so confident and comfortable as he is working on you. I can’t wait for my next session.

One of the greatest decisions I ever made was coming here to get my tattoos! It’s not even just about the great work that has been done, but it’s also the energy and environment that surrounds the shop! You feel welcome and u become part of a family! Extremely respect artists who are all dedicated to their work and providing you with the best experience you possible. I have been fortunate enough to create a friendship and brotherhood with the artists! Nick has done the most incredible work across my body and I don’t plan on stopping until I’m completely covered. I can’t go anywhere without someone complimenting on his work! The work just pops off of your body! Justin, as well! Justin did a family sleeve for me! The colors are so bright and have remained so since I got them! Highly recommend coming here to bring your ideas to life. The artists will work with u and make ur ideas come to life more than u could imagine! Like I said, I’m in love with all the work and can’t go anywhere without someone noticing the ink and giving it praise! 11/10 go here!!!

Let me tell you about Higher Ground Tattoo! I’ve been going to Nick ever since he did my fathers sleeves and his cover ups. He has done 90% of my ink or has had a hand in the concepts. He’s my go to in Vegas and his recommendation to other artist carry weight no matter where I travel! I’ve known nick for about seven years and I am honored to call him family. He is truly passionate about his work and treats each piece he does as more than just a tattoo but simply art he pours his souls into. Though I have not had the pleasure of being tattooed by Jay he has always been a pleasure to see and can be counted on when your getting work done to make you giggle! Then there is Dora. I have a few pieces done by her and I must say it’s been a pleasure and an honor of watching her grow from an apprentice to an artist. Though each time I’ve seen here I’ve made her question my immediate life choices when tattooing my pusheens and random Pokémon tattoos! That’s simply the vibe of the shop, you come in and are welcomed as more than a client, you are welcomed as family!
