I travelled all the way from the Midwest to experience this place for myself. I was in no way disappointed. I have had many friends tell me if I could get in here it's the only place to get a tattoo. I made my appointment a few weeks before I flew in, the process was so simple and I was contacted right away by the office manager. Everyone there from the minute I stepped in was so friendly and helpful. I was nervous but they set my mind at ease. The entire experience was so different than anything I am used to in a tattoo shop. After all the goodness just being there, I ended up with the best tattoo I have ever seen. There will be a new group of fans planning tattoo vacations from Kansas. You guys are amazing, thank you for an unforgettable experience!

Taylor did an amazing job with my newest tattoo. She was very professional and did an amazing job of making sure I was okay throughout the whole process. Her lines were dead straight and her hand was not too heavy. I would totally recommend this studio to anyone! It was very clean and comfortable!

I went in hoping for Italian food, and left with tattoos. It’s definitely not a restaurant, but I couldn’t simply leave, that would have been rude and awkward. I now have a full sleeve done by Kenny and a piece from the new and talented Callie—and I’m full with happiness.

Between courses, I got a chance to chat with Parker, Shaun, Brooke, as well as chef...correction, owner Mark and manager Christie —what a great, fun crew. I learned eating out and tattooing have something in common: the time and experience spent there. The cleanliness and soft pillows are a plus, too. Napkins only available upon request.

They more than made me and my weird self feel like I belong there. I adore this place. In fact, they probably aren’t getting rid of me. You’ve been warned, Marked Studios.

The artist's here are great. The gentleman that did mine (unfortunately forgot his name), did exactly as I wanted, and had a nice light touch. For a first tattoo that was medium in size, that gentleness was nice. However, the main drawback from this place is the pricing. It can be very expensive. I believe they charge 200 an hour, so at 2:30 hours I was charged 300 because they round up. Seemed a little unfair to me. Overall I came out of it positive, but I definitely can't go back unless I'm stacked.

I got my old tattoo covered up by Taylor. She was so friendly and she made my tattoo experience so much better than my previous one. This place is expensive, but definitely worth it. Taylor is an amazing artist. The whole atmosphere is great. It’s clean and the artists here actually care about your art. Taylor deserves 10 stars! I’ve recommended her to all my friends. I’ll be coming back for more in the future!

Got some amazing ink by Gaia and the entire staff is friendly and professional. The line work and shading of my piece is amazing! You really get what you pay for here at Marked. Price was totally fair and the entire experience was fantastic. Thank you so much!

This by far is the best experience I have had getting a tattoo! Mark McKinnon was ( and will now always be) my tattoo artist. Mark is the owner of Marked Studios and is booked pretty far out but we'll worth the wait! I was specifically in search of a "realist" tattoo artist. This is how I found him. He totally got what I was going for and designed an original tattoo around what I told him I was looking for. His staff is excellent at keeping in touch with you about your upcoming appointments. Mark himself will email you a sketch of your artwork a week prior to your appointment to see if you have any questions or want any changes. The studio itself is the nicest I've ever been to. Not the average Reno tattoo parlor. Not that there is anything wrong with the other places, this studio is simply more pleasing to the eye and is very clean and professional. After the completion of my tattoo, I was given a kit to take care of my new artwork. I call it that because it truly is a piece of art. By far my favorite tattoo to date! The kit has instructions for the following days on how to best take care of your new artwork, along with a bottle of cleaning product and emollient lotion to take care of the tattoo. I was also given an extra waterproof bandage. Never has this happened to me and it was much appreciated! I highly recommend Marked Studios for your next or especially your first tattoo! I want to take a moment to recognize everyone at Marked studios. I went to their Veterans Day tattoo event and received my very first army tattoo. Not only were they super friendly, but their studio is modern and clean. I had the pleasure of being tattooed by the owner, Mark. He has a really awesome attitude and he's a talented artist. I could tell that they were doing this event out of the goodness of their hearts simply because they wouldn't accept any money I offered. I also tried to tip Mark, my artist, and he wouldn't accept. He said, "that's not necessary, this event is for you guys. Thank you for your service." He then gave me a hug, after care products, and sent me on my way with a smile and a bitchin tattoo. Marked studios definitely has my business in the future.

It would have been Nice if they called me after I sent them two emails about what I wanted but it's been 3 months and haven't received any communication. If your shop is too busy, then send out an email saying that you're booked. Me and a friend both tried to get an appointment and never heard back from them even though they came highly recommended. This is lazy and just all around bad customer service.

My tattoo artist was Taylor. This was my first ink (at 75) and she made the experience a positive one. I am delighted with my artwork. The atmosphere is perfect..the artists friendly. Was very pleased with a follow up call to sew how things were going! Thanks Emily. Opps..just realized this is my second review re same visit. Oops.
