My husband Matt Antonis will only ever go to her, not only is she the most exemplary artist but she has many tattooists that are phenomenal. If I could describe Cynthia in one word it would be ingenious.

Although it's been over a year, I'm finally writing this review because I feel like it's important feedback.. I came in to have my new (3 month old) nose piercing replaced with a 14kt gold stud as my skin is sensitive to other metals and becomes infected with anything other than gold. I'm not being snobby at all - my ears are the same way, no amount of cleaning will keep them from infection when wearing cheaper earrings.. unfortunately. Anyways, I made this entirely clear with the guy who changed it out for me. And he said he understood.. Fast-forward to a year later after dealing with repeated infections to my nose piercing, I finally decided to remove it and low and behold, looking the "gold stud" which I had purchased from Dark Mark Tattoo, I saw had a silver colored metal bar that had been perpetuating the infections. Sure the decorative portion of it was gold but If someone has a metal allergy/sensitivity the piece of metal going through their nose shouldn't be the very metal that they are sensitive to! This was frustrating to say the least. A piercing and tattoo specialist should understand these instances and be more thoughtful.

I don’t regret any of my tattoos except the one I got here. The artist didn’t shave or clean the area being tattooed, just drew on the design and started tattooing. Also, I gave a picture to copy for reference of what I wanted and it somehow came out worse than the photo, despite me specifically asking for an artist who could do that type of work. The artist was unfriendly and seemed irritated and too bothered to talk to anyone. Then, I went in for a touch up months later to fix the symmetry of it, and it STILL is not symmetrical/fixed! I wish I got this tattoo done elsewhere so it would’ve come out how I intended it. I wouldn’t recommend Dark Mark to anyone.

I got a very cool daith piercing at Dark Mark, although that wasn't what I asked for... I went in on a whim and asked about getting a conch piercing. The atmosphere was very friendly and the guy piercing my ear was happy and talkative. Stupidly, I didn't ask to double check what he was doing with my ear, but I also feel like it was his job to make sure he was going to be piercing the right part of my ear. I couldn't feel what was going on in my ear, so I figured all had been done according to plan. He did not ask about my jewelry preferences, just picked out some stuff, which I am fine with, but may not have ended up picking for myself. I would go back to dark mark, but only if I had a clear vision of what I wanted and the assertiveness to get my needs heard. You can imagine my surprise when I got into my car and looked in the mirror to see not a cute hoop on the side of my ear, but something much more hard core peeking out of my ear canal. I am happy with my piercing, but I'm lucky that this mishap produced something that I liked, and not something that I regret. Also, it worries me that the piercers terminology was off, I was given a daith piercing, something much different than the conch piercing I had in mind. I only found the correct name for what I had gotten while researching what I had done to myself after I got home. If you do go to Dark Mark, bring in a picture of what you want, otherwise you may end up walking away with something else.

Cynthia might be a good tattooist but what she has in artistic flair she lacks in people skills and decorum. If you are looking for a reply about genuine enquiries in a professional friendly manner then look elsewhere... Very unhelpful and somewhat brusque! Good business is about the complete process as a whole. Cynthia wasn’t willing to replicate a tattoo idea I found online because it was someone else’s... That’s fair enough but instead of being helpful, offering alternatives or suggestions she cut me off. Disappointing to say the least! Cynthia is however happy to copy Disney art work, so I’m struggling not to see the hypocrisy here.

This crew is the best. Had an idea and Tristan turned it into a masterpiece. Everyone is friendly and professional. Won’t go anywhere else for high quality art!

Absolutely in love with my pawprint tattoo done in memorial of my dog. Everyone in the shop was so friendly and commented how cool it looked with all of the detail as it's my dog's actual paw print. We will be back for sure! Thank you Dark Mark Tattoo!

I went here back in the late fall to get my nose pierced for the first time. The piercer was very friendly, and definitely calmed my nerves-which was great! and in the beginning I thought everything went fine, the first thing that struck me as odd were the aftercare instructions I received afterwards.
The instructions were vague at best.
Well even following their vague instructions, my piercing never seemed to heal, in January it was painful enough where I had to remove the piercing and the hole ended up closing(the hole closing is no fault of their's obviously, I did remove the piercing myself.). I was ready to just write it off as just one of those chance things that can happen with piercings.
But when I mentioned what happened to a friend of mine, who was a piercing apprentice, she informed me that they had chosen a pretty awful spot to pierce my nose, one that makes it difficult for it to heal properly, and that's probably the reason for all my problems.
Which I feel like as a professional piercer you should know better than to pierce in a spot that makes it harder to heal?? And taking into account another person had a problem with a piercer here seeming to have less than the appropriate levels of knowledge on the subject, it's definitely turned me off from going and getting any work done here again. Now that my nose has healed, I'm planning on getting it repierced at a shop that is more knowledgeable and informative about what they're doing.

Great service, clean, friendly environment, I got my tattoo done by the apprentice Caroline and wow I would have never known she wasn't a master she did an amazing job and was so nice and caring throughout the process! Couldn't rate her any more highly
