7 Souls Tattoo & Body Piercing

Went in for a tragus piercing. Max was amazing!! He is patient, informative, and experienced. He was super gentle and made sure I was comfortable. Erin at the front desk was also a pleasure. She is very welcoming and super helpful and very quick to respond to text messages and DMs on instagram. The place itself is spotless and so clean!

Good job team at 7 Souls!!!! 10/10, 5 stars. Will be recommending to anyone looking for a tattoo or piercing :)

Had an absolutely incredible experience at 7 Souls in Jersey City getting my long-awaited David Bowie Blackstar tattoo. I walked in with an image on my phone of what I wanted and Angel made it happen! Everyone at the shop was friendly, encouraging, and helpful throughout the process. Got my ears pierced on a random whim and received excellent customer service from Max (the artist) and Erin (manager). Cool spot and good people. 10/10 def recommend!

Came in very nervous for just one piercing on my helix. The staff were so kind and supportive, and the procedure was so swift and painless, I ended up deciding to get 2 more piercings on the spot, and will be coming back to finish out my ear with Omar. Very clean, very professional and very sweet staff.

Overall, I had a great experience at 7 souls! I got one of the "get what you get" tattoos and a smaller tattoo of an equation that was all black line-work. My artist, Carla, was super sweet and did an awesome job on all the line-work. Both tattoos are great, and I will definitely be coming back/recommending them to friends!

For my first time tattoo Claudia had a calm presence which helped me focus on my breathing and remind me of all the reasons I was getting inked today. I also appreciated that Claudia spent the time having a conversation about the design. 7 Souls Tattoo is extremely clean, organized and thorough.

Got a touch up done here in the summer and I’ve been left disappointed. The artist only did half the tattoo because he didn’t prepare for the whole thing. The part that was done was done well but some areas were missed completely. I waited a while to see if I felt ok with this new tat but I don’t. Also the shop was dark so I couldn’t see it all at the time. I paid $500 which was more than the original tat cost and only half of it done! Just not cool. Now I need to find another place to fix this…
Also the shop needs to have better business communication- instead of just handing u off to a tattoo artist to discuss. They’ll all do different things instead of having a standard practice of how to communicate and what questions to ask. Further I think texting about a tat is just dumb u need an in person consultation so u can see and talk about the same thing at the same time…recommend this place only for new tat not touch ups

Came here yesterday for Friday the 13th tattoos! Chris was super nice and did such a wonderful job with my tat. The service was organized and clean! I would definitely come back here again to get tattooed.

This place was great! My piercer was quick, efficient, friendly, and, most importantly, knowledgeable. I had such a wonderful experience. I 110% recommend and I will be returning for my next piercings.
