I got my first tattoo done here a year ago and it was super fast. The workers Tommy and Joel were very friendly. I got another one done by a different place and came here today to have it touched up they were once again very friendly and remembered me. They do amazing work definitely where I’m getting all my tattoos from now on

Wanted to get my 6-year-old daughter’s ears pierced, and had been told multiple times that going to a tattoo/piercing shop is the best place to go. Called and made an appointment, no one took our name or anything. We show up for our appointment and are told that they don’t do piercings on anyone under the age of 14, and that it’s NYS law. (We have since been told by many people that this is not true, otherwise how can little kids get their ears pierced anywhere?) So if this is a law specifically due to the type of piercings they do at this shop, or their own policy, it should have been mentioned to us over the phone before we drove out there. But no one informed us of this when we made the appointment, and when we attempted to discuss the confusion we were told that it was our fault and that we were giving attitude, and the owner began yelling and swearing at my husband in front of my crying 6-year-old. We weren’t trying to get him to do it anyway, we understood if that was the law, all we wanted to express was that we would have appreciated knowing this when we called so we could have found a different place to take her. He wouldn’t listen and told us to leave his shop. I’ll admit that my husband called him a d*ck (because honestly, that’s how he was acting) but he didn’t use nearly the amount of profanity that was being yelled at us. He followed us out of the shop and threatened physical violence toward my husband, again in front of my crying daughter. So maybe he does great tattoo art but his customer service is horrible and he lost any other business we may have given him, and we will actively inform everyone we know (many of whom get tattoos regularly) to avoid this nasty man and his business.

Tommy did my first tattoo ever and he was really helpful when it came to what I wanted for my first one and I love it! I was a little nervous but he talked me through it the whole time so it wasn’t bad at all. Both Joel and Tommy were extremely nice and talented. I would definitely recommend and would go back again.

Professional, clean, conscientious, artistic and comfortable- just some of the ways to describe both Pure Image Tattoo & the owner. Joel drew up several designs to choose from and the end result was even better than expected. I've had numerous piercings, new tattoos, and a touch up done on an older tattoo- extremely happy with all! Always bragging and recommending him to family, friends & co-workers, as well as, continuing to go back for more, myself. Set-up an appt- you won't be disappointed.
