Heron Mark Tattoo & Gallery

I have been to a few tattoo studios and this one by far had the best customer service and environment. My sister, my mom, and myself all got tattoos by Noah and we all loved the final product and Noah himself. He was extremely friendly and wanted to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. We will definitely be going to Heron Mark again.

Billy recently wrapped up a full sleeve for me. He did an outstanding job of taking the elements that I wanted and forming them into a cohesive whole. Truly a gifted eye for color, perspective and proportion. The rest of the staff were always friendly, always helpful. They've gathered an impressive amount of talent under one roof. The shop's clean and open. Feels like the collective artists' studio that it is. I can't imagine a more positive and professional experience than the one I had there.

Katie (one of my favorite tattoo artists) recently moved to this place and of course I had to follow her — wow I love it! Great atmosphere, the staff is really friendly and cool, love the art on the walls and open space, feels really welcoming. Can't wait to come back!

My wife and I went to Heron Mark to see Austin Britt. First off Austin did an amazing job. The shop was very clean and organized. Every artist in the shop were very friendly. This is a classy shop. If you want good work go see the artists at Heron Mark!!

My sisters and I had a great experience here! For three of us, it was our first tattoo and Heron Mark set the bar HIGH. If I lived in Asheville, I wouldn’t look anywhere else for tattoo work. In fact, I might vacation there again if I decide to get inked again!

I searched for months for an artist in the Asheville area to do a floral sleeve in an artistic style that would look like someone painted right on my arm with watercolors, and I was lucky enough to be pointed in Billy's direction. He is an extremely talented and creative person who has brought Heron Mark straight out of his mind into reality. One thing I especially appreciate is that I don't need to know the exact image that I want tattooed. I can just give him some ideas of a theme, a color scheme, a few images I like, and the style I am going for, and he "gets" it! He is an experienced tattoo artist, and I trust him to tell me what will look good or what would look better, as he is very intuitive and has an amazing eye for color, placement, and size. I have been tattooed by others in the past who advertise "custom tattooing," but then use my idea to print an image from Google and make that into a stencil. In my opinion, pretty much anyone can copy someone else's work. It takes real talent to create art from scratch. I cannot wait to get my floral sleeve added to within the next couple of months, and I know I will not be disappointed!

I got my very first tattoo from Noah at Heron Mark. He was so kind and professional, even when I changed my mind 3 times before he finished the template! He put me at ease and did the tattoo as quickly and painlessly as possible. I can’t recommend him and this studio enough. Will definitely return to Heron Mark and Noah, specifically for my next tattoo!

Katie was absolutely fantastic! The place was clean and had a really nice atmosphere to it. The staff was super friendly and made my husband and I feel very comfortable. He loves his tattoo and we will definitely be back!
