Wonderful experience for a walk in tattoo with Brett! Right when I walked in I was greeted by Aubrey (Pretty sure that’s his name) and immediately felt welcome and comfortable. The shop was very clean and Brett was accommodating and drew up a version of a peony that I found in his flash book, to fit the area I wanted filled. Everyone in the shop was super friendly and I look forward to going back!

What an amazing experience! I’m always so anxious about going to tattoo shops and talking to tattoo artists, but man I was welcomed with open arms by staff, they made me feel very comfortable. I will definitely be coming back to get get more tattoos!

called ahead of time and asked if they had time for two walk-ins, the person on the phone said all the artists were busy at the moment but we could come in an hour from then and there would be artists available at that time.
we went in as soon as we got off the phone to ensure our spot and to look at the flash on the wall, long story short only one of us walked out with a tattoo and Brett was the artist who tattooed me, he was uninterested and quite frankly just off putting and stand off-ish. he didn’t shave my arm before tattooing and i didn’t realize (due to being so uncomfortable) until after it was already said and done and his shade work felt like he was sawing my arm off.
no one really seemed to know what was going on and Brett was just not a welcoming person. a lot more happened than just this but that’s the gist of it.
you can 100% tell this is a tattoo shop in a college/hipster town.
0/10 would not recommend and would give -1000 stars if i could.

I sought out Henry to do my cover up tattoo because I liked his aesthetic and his large scale black & gray work. Not only did I get a great tattoo, but I also had a nice experience. I had such a pleasant time through the entire process. The shop was clean and friendly. Henry was a great listener and worked in all the elements I requested for my piece. He was professional, but also easy-going. Plus, he made my after care process so easy. I had very little pain after the tattooing and my final result was such high quality. Highly recommend!!

Everyone here is good. I’ve gotten tattoos from 4 different people here and they all bang. Just got one today from Brett. I’m always impressed with how bright and bold they can get a tattoo to look and everyone is always friendly and easy to talk to. Best spot in Asheville for sure.
