I would highly recommend Invidia Tattoo to anyone looking for their next, or first, tattoo. Tina has done 4 tattoos for me and all have turned out phenomenally! I have 3 of my dogs and they looked just like the photos! The other artists there are also very good at what they do. Go by and check them out!!

I went there today for my first tattoo and they had me in and out in 40 minutes! The artist I had, Jesse, drew it perfectly. I am not good with needles and I pass out easily, but he was very patient and helpful and got me water and glucose tablets. Another artist there fanned me (I didn't catch her name) until I felt normal again. Then we resumed and it turned out great! Will be returning for future tattoos. Thanks guys!

I love Invidia Tattoo. Not only is Tina McFarland the best tattoo artist hands down, but the other staff are also welcoming and treat you like family. Tina has done my past 3 tattoos and I absolutely love her work. I can send her a few pictures of ideas that I have for a tattoo and she can turn it into a masterpiece! And unlike a lot of tattoo artists, Tina will sit there and actually have a real conversation with you and listen to what you have to say, which makes the tattoo process go a whole lot smoother. We have developed a great friendship and I will never go anywhere else!

I could not Rave about Invidia enough , Krystal gave me the best work I’ve ever had done , she was super friendly, fast , and amazing with her skill. Totally worth the 2.5 hour drive. I will be back for more of her work 10/10 recommend.

I’ve gotten several piercings done at this shop and they always go above and beyond in terms of sanitation and making their customers feel comfortable. The piercers are all knowledgeable on the proper aftercare and placements of ear piercings. Best place for piercings in Asheville. 10/10

Invidia has a mystical, artistic vibe. I popped in to get some piercings and Lucien, very efficiently, helped me achieve the look and style I wanted in under 30 minutes. The previous piercer at a different studio was only available by text (because of COVID) and had nothing available for 2 weeks. Invidia is the place I will return to for future piercings...and when people ask me about my piercings, (because they always do)- I will give my recommendation.

I discovered Invidia Tattoo's when I was looking for a place to get a water color tattoo and I am so glad that I found them! From the moment I stepped in, they were friendly and able to help me. I told Orlin the rough idea for my tattoo and 10 minutes later he came back with a design that was amazing and captured everything that I wanted. I constantly get complemented on it and I love it!
During the process, he was so nice and when he saw that I was in pain (Only my second tattoo and quite a bit larger than the first), he talked to me and made sure that I was okay. Such a great experience at Invidia and I can't imagine going anywhere else for my next one.

I love Tina! She's done all my work for almost 10 years! I'll never go to anyone else as long as she is still working! She's done all black, fine detail, watercolor, and realistic. She's creative and is willing to start with a vague idea and create a masterpiece. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my ideas and something so permanent.

Note: I did not personally receive a tattoo here, but I was there with a friend while they did. My friend saw Mark here. He is an amazing artist, and is a very interesting person to talk to. The work that he did on my friend's leg was incredible. I would not have expected such mastery coming from such a random place, but I can honestly attest that it was one of the best done tattoos that I have ever seen.
From what I can tell, the tattoos here are top-notch. The artists here are lively, interesting people. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat to anyone willing to get a tattoo. Unfortunately, however, they are so in-demand that there tends to be quite a waitlist to see some of the artists.
