Drove two states over for my appointment set months in advance, only to find out my artist is in another state for work. I did call earlier in the week and said I had an appointment with the artist in a few days just to touch base and no one told me he wouldn't be there. The artist sent a very brief email apologizing and offered an open date but unfortunately I couldn't make it. No more openings for the year and deposit refunded.
