The staff is very friendly. Information is concise and detailed. My artist did an excellent job on my tattoos. Jefferson is chill and professional. He is attentive and engaged in what his clients are asking for. His technique did not cause too much discomfort! Overall, very pleasant experience!

I have nothing but positive things to say about Canvas Tattoo. After a lot of research, pouring through reviews, scouring the internet and social media platforms for pictures to compare artists, I can say that prior to my contacting Canvas I was already excited about their quality of artists and the caliber of their work. I booked with Joey Cesarini, whose work I became obsessed with as I researched. I went in for an initial consult where I was able to talk with him about my concept and the meaning it held. We then scheduled the actual tattoo appointment for about 6 weeks later. He custom designed a beautiful piece for me and was so insanely gentle. I’m now 2 days out; zero pain, it’s healing so beautifully and the level of detail he included is just beautiful. This is my 5th tattoo, but my first at Canvas. My experience here has been my favorite by far. 10/10. I’d for sure recommend to everyone.

Have seen this place for many years on trips to eat in NoDa. At 50 I decided to get my first tattoo. Joey Ces did not disappoint. Walked though the process step by step without any issues. Very good at communicating via text/email. Work completed as expected and I am pleased. Will revisit I am sure at some point.

This was my first experience with Canvas Tattoing. But not with the Artist Eric Smith (AKA Puff), he has been doing my ink now for over 10 years. Puff does the styles of what I like inked on me, very detailed and professional. There is nothing Puff can’t do, when it comes to ink work.
The location of Canvas Tattoing is exactly where it needs to be and it fits in, with that location. The staff is professional, and fun to be around. I sat for a few hours and would walk around and the other artist would let me watch. Absolutely love this place, and Puff is the whole reason I came.
