Review of Reed Em & Weep Tattoos & Body
Reed Em & Weep Tattoos & Body is a tattoo shop located in Cincinnati, Ohio. The shop offers a range of tattoo and piercing services, and has a team of experienced artists who are skilled in creating custom designs. The shop is open seven days a week, but hours vary and are not listed online, so it's best to call ahead to confirm availability.
The shop has received mixed reviews from customers. Some have praised the friendly and professional staff, while others have criticized the shop's communication and professionalism. However, many customers have been happy with the quality of the work they received, and have recommended the shop to others.
One customer wrote, "Got 2 small tattoos here today. Really nice staff and great work! Very happy with my tattoos. Recommend checking it out." Another customer praised the piercer, saying, "I got a double nasal piercing by Sharon, she was very friendly and kind! She made sure it was symmetrical and made sure I was very happy with it before piercing! I will be going back for more piercings!"
However, some customers have had negative experiences. One customer wrote, "Argo did so bad on a tattoo that I have to pay to have it removed because it's too dark to cover. The others seem to do fine work but very annoying I have to spend thousands to remove horrible work from someone they employ." Another customer was disappointed with the shop's communication, saying, "Very unprofessional communication. I messaged the Facebook page to book an appointment for my first tattoo; responses were slow and not super helpful to a person new to tattoos but eventually I was scheduled for September 1st. There was no communication up until my appointment date - no instructions of what to bring, what to expect, etc. Not even a confirmation of my appointment."
Overall, Reed Em & Weep Tattoos & Body is a tattoo shop with a range of services and experienced artists. While some customers have had negative experiences, many have been happy with the quality of the work they received. It's best to call ahead to confirm availability and to discuss any questions or concerns with the staff.

Just went in to have my jewelry replaced for my Daith peicing. Amazing group of people who worked there. Really friendly! There was also some amazing art work.

I got a bridge piercing done. First of all he used a curved barbell theyβre supposed to be straight bars as itβs a surface piercing and secondly the piercing is crooked!! As you can see in the photo. Will not be back

I think the guys name was Arlo? Idk how to spell it. I was kinda nervous but he was awesome joked around a little and stabbed me in my nose π€£! It's the cutest piercing tho and I love it! Def recommend cuz as soon as I sat down I almost chickened out but he helped me not be a chicken by being laid back and goofy! Going back for the other side next!

Owner is da Bomb! He was Great!! The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was the Cash Only. Who still does business Cash Only these days?

Best shop I've been in. Clean and professional. Ricky has 20+ hours in my color sleeve and did a awesome job. Extreme detail to line work and shading.

We were here for a couple piercings. It was a clean shop with friendly welcome. The guy that did the piercing was knowledgeable and clear. We had a small issue and they handled it with no problem. I recommend!

Unprofessional and unorganized. Improper times and lack of organization and communication. Loss of security deposit. I wouldn't recommend for detailed art since a definite structure is unattainable. Probably good for simple work and work that isn't on a schedule.
Any professional that can't give you an estimate or know how long a work can or can't be done is not a place of professionalism.

The shop is really nice looking but my girlfriend went there to get her nostril pierced. The girl that did it didn't tell us she was a trainee when she started. She did the piercing but failed to get the stud through the hole. She pulled it out and called somebody from a back room who had to come out and redo the piercing to get the stud through. I can't say I recommend the place.

This place does not even deserve one star. Do not get a tattoo here, or at least do not go to Argo. My husband and I went here to get tattoos, and mine turned out horribly, my husbands turned out OK, but not shaded well and the tattoo artist went outside the lines in many areas, leaving blobs over the outline. Mine was a cover up (You should be able to clearly tell what I was covering up from the photos). All I asked for was a shaded in or patterned Ohio with a vine "cuff". You can see from the photo how this turned out. I am now pursuing laser removal. My wrist is on display to everyone I meet, and everyone just asks "What happened there?"
I understand shading looks different after healing, so my husband booked an appointment for a touch up about six weeks after the original tattoo had been done. The appointment was supposed to be at 2pm--the shop was supposed to open at 1pm.
We arrived at 1:45 and waited until 2:30. No one showed up, called to cancel the appointment, called to apologize for missing the appointment, NOTHING. There were probably seven cars full of customers that showed up during this time, waited, and left because the shop simply decided not to open. There was no inclement weather or anything to explain this. This shop is clean, but unprofessional, and does subpar work at best. Argo obviously does not care that you have to live with the tattoo for the rest of your life.
