Raincloud Tattoo, private studio of Kari Yocom

Kari created a beautiful piece for me. We had a meeting to discuss ideas and thoughts for the project and I was so thrilled with the final project. She has a great little studio and I enjoyed my time with her. I will definitely be coming back :)

I came to Kari with an idea, a love for her style, empty arms and a boat load of trust. She blew my expectations out of the water.

Kari's execution of a silly idea in my head was better than I could have imagined. Her line work and her attention to detail are amazing. I have recommended her to everyone I know that has even casually mentioned getting a tattoo. This couldn't have been a better experience.

Kari has been tattooing me for a several years. I keep going back because her style is incredibly unique and I feel like she really takes my personality into consideration when she’s drawing it up. Shes incredible! Her studio is very clean and her sterile technique is excellent. She is incredibly professional and always on time. I feel safe and cared for when I’m there. Most importantly Kari is kindhearted and very humble. Before I found her I had only ever known tattoo artists with poor bedside manner and/or air of superiority. Thank you Kari for being you.

Kari is an amazing, skilled, wonderful person who clearly knows what she's doing and provides a seriously awesome, fun and healing experience. She'll put on music you like, makes great conversation, and is open and flexible about budget. Her tattoos are deeply personalized and one of a kind. Her tattoo on me is my favorite tattoo and I get compliments all the time. 10/10, will come back! Please consider her for your next tattoo idea!

I love the work that Kari created for my tattoo! She is an amazing artist. I let her know what I wanted and she created the most amazing piece of artwork based on my idea. Her studio is private and so clean. She took her time doing my ink and I had such a wonderful time. She is so sweet and has the best energy! I really enjoyed my whole experience. I highly recommend her. I will be going back to have her touch up my other pieces because she is that awesome!

Kari is an incredible tattoo artist who worked with me on an anatomical heart piece— celebrating my successful heart surgery. Her conceptualization of the work with me, her skill set, attention to detail and depth of artistic vision, gave me more than I even know to ask for. Kari was pleasure to spend time with, and was consummately professional. Simply inspired work, and I receive so many compliments too! Photo 1 was the day of the tattoo. Photo 2 is three weeks later. Just a stunner!

Honestly a huge privilege to get my first tattoo here. Kari's linework is very crisp, her detail in her coloring is astounding, and her designs are badass. Well worth the price and the session is enhanced by her friendly personality and the clean, calming atmosphere of her workspace.

Not only am I totally thrilled with my new tattoo and can't stop looking at it, I loved the experience! It was the first time in a LONG time I felt like I didn't have to worry about not being cool enough for Portland tattoo shops! Kari just made me feel super comfortable and I loved the space. The tattoo itself is so vibrant, my 12-year-old says it "looks fake!" I can't wait to get some more added to it and get all my tattoos from Kari in the future.

A unique and wonderful soul. Kari is in a league of her own. Her style is an absolute blast and she is very confident in what she does. Beyond impressed with her ability to preform clean lines and have such vibrant and beautiful color work. She has done almost a 1/3 of my entire body and we have spent probably close to 40 hours in the chair now. Not only am I in love with the work but it is a pleasure just to get a tattoo from her. To have the social ability and the quality of work. It is a win win. if you enjoy her style and work, you shouldn't go anywhere else.
