Went in for a walk-in and was not disappointed!! The atmosphere was cool, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Carlos deliverd a beautiful tattoo that was exactly what I wanted! I’d highly recommend this spot for your next tattoo, big or small!

I had come in for a memorial piece and my husband had paid way too much for the work that wasn’t even finished. I tried contacting the shop to schedule a finish up appointment several times before having to scour Instagram to get in touch with the artist who then called me and yelled at me while simultaneously insulting me for not contacting him sooner. Sir. Your google info and contact info were not enough for you to get back to me. That is YOUR responsibility. The work was spotty at best and completely unfinished with random line work that never even connected the top half of my sleeve. It looks awful and it almost seems premeditated and a complete SCAM. Just a poorly run shop with ZERO professional candor or accountability. Will NEVER recommend to anyone.

Brian is an AMAZING artist! 70% of my tattoos are from him. I 10/10 recommend Brian’s expertise. He along with the rest of the staff at Thoughtcrime definitely have the health and safety of the customer in mind.

We came to portland on holiday from the UK and my partner and I got some tattoos done by Robert and he was great. We had them Don on March 11th and 12th. All the guys were very professional and great fun.

AMAZING!!! ALL THE GUYS THERE ARE SUPER NICE! the shop is the cleanest shop ive seen. I had Carlos do my jelly fish tattoo on my chest and it turned out WAY better then i expected super light hand perfect lines and the colors are bold I will definitely be going back for amy future tattooes.

Best shop in Portland. Mike, Jake, and all of the staff here are great. Hilarious guys. Mike will keep you laughing and they do amazing work.. Cool artistic atmosphere with original paintings and eclectic decorum. Killer selection of music.. This isnt a flash art shop but they will do any custom work you want.. Nothing too big or small..

JUST had my tat done here. Jake is awesome and does really clean lines. I like jow the building was secure and the space was clean, open, and uncluttered. I liked that it was Custom ink only. Very reasonable price. Highly recommended :)
