Black Mammoth Tattoo & Piercing

Highly recommend!! I chose Black Mammoth to do my first piercing and I can say that their staff, and their piercer JJ were totally awesome! I was so nervous and they made it all worth while! Definitely loved coming here! 💜

JJ is the best piercer ever and I would never go anywhere else. He makes sure you are taken care of, that the piercing you want will look correct with your anatomy, and always makes sure you are comfortable and calm while jamming needles into your body parts. I recommend JJ to anyone who wants a piercing, as he is truly an artist.

I have been going to Black Mammoth for years. I actually used to go to the previous shop where these guys worked. Refused to go anywhere else until this shop opened. JJ is the best piercer I've had. He's very thorough in explaining aftercare, and isn't afraid to tell you if a piercing won't work with your body.

I’ve been to JJ for four different piercings, all of which needed a little extra love because I am naturally a poor healer. He is always very kind and gentle and knows his stuff and is always willing to help with your piercing needs. I recommend him and Black Mammoth to anyone who is looking to get a new piercing. :)

One of my daughters wanted a tattoo (her first) and she was extremely impressed with the professionalism, artistry, and friendliness of all of the staff. She loves her tattoo and is hoping to schedule a few more with them in the future.

I went there January of 2021 to get a piercing. Wonderful, gentle, professional experience. A year and a half later I took the piercing out for a day or so and was not able to get them back in. Black mammoth is very good about helping you get them back in. Again a very pleasant experience.

I had a great experience. The piercer, JJ, helped me get my conch piercing back in that was partially closing back up. He was very kind and did a great job! I was very worried I would have to get it re-pierced and I didn't have to. Thank you.

Got my second piercing yesterday from JJ. He's done my nostril and septum. Very professional and nice to his clients. He explains what he's going to do and is knowledgeable and will answer questions you have. Would not hesitate to come here again.

I have had my septum pierced two other times by different ppl and the first time the piercing wasn't in the best position, the second time I hurt a whole lot and I ended up taking it out because it wasn't positioned well. This is the last time I'll ever need it pierced, the guy who pierced me this time took his time to find the right placement and for the first time I can flip my piercing up without pain after it's healed. He was very friendly and helpful and overall the shop had great vibes! After several bad piercing and tattoo experiences Black mammoth definitely gave me back the confidence and joy I get from body modification!

I just got my tattoo done by Jacob. It looks amazing, I've been wanting it for a while and I'm so glad I went here. The place was clean, everyone was nice and I'm definitely coming back for my future ones as long as I'm living in the area

Received my first piercings for both ears to start gauges, the prices were good and they were extremely friendly all around. Gave good advice for care, and are willing to help in the future should I need it. Overall, great place!

Went in when they were still in their old building, had my first dum and drunk tattoo fixed, Cody was amazing really asked me questions of my vision and what i wanted, and he nailed it, really happy with the end product!

Made two birthday piercing appointments, paid my deposit. I understand as family things come up but I drove over an hour away not knowing our appointments had been canceled. Reception lady insisted she left a message. Weve had an answering machine 15 years never lost one message. Never had the number on our caller ID either. Was home literally all day the day she claimed to left said message. If you forgot to notify customers at least own it. Thanks for the last minute notice! So disappointed. Had the best experience with your establishment until today. Updated: Daughter's rescheduled their appointments as JJ is one of the best piercer around. No surprise cancelation this time without notification. Very pleasant gentleman. I see now why my Daughter's insisted on seeing him. Would definitely go back because of him. Updated my review to 4 stars only because of his kind, professional experience. Still think front staff may need to double check numbers and whom they did or didn't call for any future cancelation notifications.
