If you’re looking for a piercer, Ricky and Dawn will 100% do it right! Been here 3 times now for piercings, all great experiences. They are walk in only, so might be a wait but they check you in quick and easy at the front. Dawn was my piercer on 2 occasions, she’s very welcoming and knowledgeable in her work. You can tell she truly cares about her clients and their piercing experience! When I went back to have my helix downsized, the ladies at the front desk helped me pick out a nice gold piece and I went ahead and had my third lobe done too. They use threadless implant grade titanium btw. She also consulted on existing piercings from a different shop for me that unfortunately turned out to be rejecting. Ricky did my nostril, he was super friendly and helped ease my nervousness beforehand by walking me through the steps. He’s definitely highly experienced and trustworthy in all regards to piercings.

Me and my wife went here wanting a simple matching tattoo. The guy did the tattoo like we wanted but he definitely didn't do the best job. I feel like he rushed through it and it didn't turn out like it was supposed to. Not recommended

I went to Alter Ego for my first tattoo. I had the pleasure of working with Kaitlynn. She listened to what I had in mind and made adjustments to fit the placement. She was very welcoming and helpful. She took the time to explain what I needed to do to take care of my tattoo properly. I scheduled my next session with her that day and can’t wait to get back. As for the shop, everyone I encountered that day was awesome. I had several employees chat with me and give me advice on aftercare. The shop was very clean, and the employees made me feel welcome. Amazing shop and will recommend them to everyone.

I've lived in the area for a long time but I only started getting tattoos about a year ago. And honestly I'm truly surprised this place isn't talked about more. The website is misleading and isn't super informative. I was looking to get extra holes added to my ears and possibly look into booking a tattoo appointment. I did a walk in, since I couldn't figure out how to make an appointment online, (turns out they only due bookings in person, which is awesome). I walked in a they were surprisingly busy, but it was fine I was expecting to wait for walk ins, while I was waiting I asked about possibly getting some tattoos and the man at the front brought over one of the artists. I believe her name was Victoria. She was so fantastic. She listened so well and was very informative and instructive both before and after. I got two small pieces. One on my hip and one on my sternum. Both semi awkward places for such an open floor plan space. But she was so kind and lovely about the whole thing. She is by from the most professional acting artistic I've worked with. She was so light handed and gentle. She will definitely be my go to from now on. Ricky did my ear pericings and he was just as professional. We only did my second holes but I'm interested in my thrids and he was able to show me how they would look on my ears. He was great. The whole experience was absolutely painless. I highly highly recommend this shop to everyone now. Will be back 100%

dawn is awesome!! i first found alter ego back in october of 2021 looking to get my septum pierced, and i couldn’t be happier. i was so lucky to find such a great shop when (at the time) i was very clueless and did barely any research hahaha… anyways out of my 8 piercings dawn has done 6 of them wonderfully. as a nervous person she makes me feel so welcomed and comfortable in her room making sure i feel comfortable with the placement of the markings she’s done before going through with the piercing process. hyping me up after it’s done. i love it!! 10/10 experience every time. would and have recommend her to people in my life looking to get some body jewelry.
