mike has done all of my tattoos so far and they’re all great! he always made me feel comfortable and was very informative on aftercare. he’s a great artist, he takes my ideas and makes them better. one thing i’d like to mention is his placement, i love how my tattoos flows with my body and looks good from every angle. overall, the shop is a friendly place, gabby at the front desk is always so kind. i love the atmosphere and the attitude of the artists there ((:

I had an extremely negative experience getting a consultation with this tattoo shop. I wanted my mom's handwriting tattooed on my right thigh because she was killed in December. I spend a lot of time in the gym to cope, so a tattoo on my thigh to see in the mirror would be comforting. It would also be nice to see on my thigh when I look down while I'm driving because I drive my mom's old car. I wanted the tattoo to be as small as possible; single needle, fine line, dime height. They kept acting like tattooing words smaller than the height of a nickel was impossible. I have discussed this tattoo with artists in Texas, where I'm from, who all agree that a tattoo artist can do my mom's handwriting dime height. I also overheard another tattoo artist judging me for choosing my thigh for the placement of the tattoo. I called before coming in because it was a sensitive tattoo for me, they asked me to text pictures of my mom's handwriting, and they said someone would respond to schedule the consultation. I waited a week and never heard anything so I called and scheduled a consultation. When I showed up, the tattoo artist asked what I was getting done and if I had brought pictures as if I had not already communicated the situation to them twice over the phone and previously sent photos. I have a fine line tattoo on my ribcage from another hard loss I experienced. I have been through this process before, but I was treated like I was ignorant. This was an awful experience for me, I cried once I got back to my car. I would never use this shop for a sentimental tattoo because of their demonstrated carelessness and insensitivity.

I have been tattooed in this shop multiple times. Today I called for a walk in and was able to be seen within the hour due to a cancellation. Shane has tattooed me 2 times, each time has been awesome. I was happy to have Shane tattoo me again he is friendly, gentle and fast! I highly recommend this shop, the atmosphere is great and very clean.

Mike is the best artist I've had the pleasure of being inked by. He worked with my ideas and designed a GORGEOUS thigh piece to cover self harm scars. The whole shop experience was fantastic. They are knowledgeable, honest and CREATIVE! None of my questions went unanswered and all of my concerns were addressed. Mike was quick and efficient and VERY GOOD about checking in with me. He even made sure I felt good to drive. :) I have found my Columbia tattoo home. And OHMYGOSH I LOVE MY NEW PIECE!!!!
