"Body Art Ink Tattoos, our previous name, was the first licensed studio in South Carolina when it became legalized. We are now MYRTLE BEACH INK! We take pride in creating amazing custom tattoos and providing excellent customer service. Myrtle Beach Ink is an all disposable shop, which means we use only single-use needles, tubes, and cartridges. We open all equipment in front of each customer to ensure everything is new and sterile.....and dispose of it in front of you as well! Walk-ins are welcome, although appointments are preferred. I wanted to add to a preexisting tattoo. Mark took the time to consult with me, adapt my design to make it work better and built on it further. Knowing it would take a while, we had to schedule a month or so out. He was an absolute pleasure and went above and beyond my expectations. It didn’t feel rushed at all and he even let me add more detail beyond what we had discussed. you can go back for a free touch up within a year!! 10/10 would recommend. I got it done back in august and it still looks great (picture is of tattoo after 6 months and my horrendously dry skin rn)

I called ahead and they said they took walk ins but they really don't. I wanted a simple horse and he saod 2 hrs wasn't enough time. He closed in 2 hrs ok. I traveled from out of town and asked if anyone was open later. He assured me no. Literally 3 doors down was a tatoo shop even til 10pm! It was only 330 or 4pm. It didn't seem like they wanted my business and 2 of them were jusy sitting so they clearly weren't busy

I went to Myrtle Beach with my best friend of 45 years. We both have been wanting to get a tattoo but we were afraid to because of the pain. Ro was absolutely fabulous! He made us feel comfortable and at ease while going through the process. My friend and I were very pleased with his work.
Now that I know the process is pain-free, I will be returning to visit Ro again for my next tattoo.
So the next time you’re in Myrtle Beach and plan on getting a tattoo, I highly recommend visiting Myrtle Beach Ink, the staff was absolutely awesome and extremely friendly and helpful! Don’t forget to ask for Ro!

I walked in with no appointment and i was waited on immediately. When I said I wanted to get 4 tattoos. They asked if I knew what I wanted. I showed them the pics n I was quoted a price and I was totally shocked by how low it was. I'm almost 60 years old n never had a tattoo but always like them. I got 2 rather large ones on the back of my shoulders n 2 small ones on the top of my upper arms. Caesar was beyond wonderful. Heck I'm trying to think of somewhere else I get get some just so I can be that close to him again ... lol. If I could give 10 stars I would.

I had a great experience from start to end! My family and I were walk ins. We felt very welcomed as we came in. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The shop was very clean and welcoming. They were even great and accommodating as we had two small kids with us. Mark was a great artist too! We all had simple designs, he made us at ease and had great conversation during all three tattoos. Highly recommend!

As my boyfriend and I were returning back home from a weekend trip to Charleston, SC, we had the idea of getting a tattoo. Before leaving Charleston, we had tried finding a tattoo shop however most were busy or booked up. While we live in Wilmington, we knew we would drive though other cities on the way back. After a bit of researching for a good tattoo shop we stumbled upon Myrtle Beach Ink to be the one to go to! We arrived very open-minded never having a tattoo before and quite nervous. The staff there made us feel very relaxed and actually excited for our tattoos. Everyone who works there is very laid-back and fun to be around. I can gratefully say that Mark who did my tattoo and “King” Ro Amanu who did my boyfriends did phenomenal jobs!! We left very happy and knowing it was such an easy process which was most important. Thank you to the staff there and in particular the two tattoo artists listed above. If you are looking for a tattoo go check them out!

Had an amazing experience first time here Sean was my artist and his work was amazing and he was very friendly and comforting also the people at the front desk went above and beyond for customer satisfaction excellent place highly recommended and I will be back for more very friendly environment hands down loved them !!!
