"Body Art Ink Tattoos, our previous name, was the first licensed studio in South Carolina when it became legalized. We are now MYRTLE BEACH INK! We take pride in creating amazing custom tattoos and providing excellent customer service. Myrtle Beach Ink is an all disposable shop, which means we use only single-use needles, tubes, and cartridges. We open all equipment in front of each customer to ensure everything is new and sterile.....and dispose of it in front of you as well! Walk-ins are welcome, although appointments are preferred. I got a small smiley face by Mark via walk-in and the lines are so crisp!! The minimum is high because their quality is high. They don’t take tattoos lightly and be prepared to have detailed conversation about size, location, and pricing for a walk-in. So so happy with their work! Bonus points for the world’s cutest and friendliest dog.

Me my sisters and cousin came here spare of the moment while on vacation for my 40th bday and the store is clean and the staff is very friendly. We got great tattoos done by Ro and Mark . Go here you will not be disappointed

I received my tattoo from Ro. I definitely recommend going here! I am here on vacation, I was a walk-in. Very friendly and very clean. Ro was detailed and definitely made me feel comfortable.

I wouldn't recommend this place at all! Myself and 2 other friends walked in at 11am when they opened There were 3 artists available. We asked did they take walkins. They said yes. We showed a simple arrow tattoo minus 1thing. The guy immediately said no we can't do anything from a picture. I said it's not exactly from the pic. He said it's custom u have to make an appointment. He was persistent about not doing it although nobody else was waiting. He was rude. All 3 of us wanted the same tattoo. So we walked out and carried our business elsewhere. I am not that person who writes reviews. Actually this is my first one. But I was so mad when I walked out that I knew I was going to this time!

Mark G did my tattoo and he was amazing. He was very friendly, professional and helpful. I got a pretty standard SC flag design and he offered suggestions on how to place it and where. That is a sign of a tattoo artists that cares about his work and how it will be seen by the customer and other people. I would highly recommend this shop!!
