Great experience! I messaged an artist on Instagram and he put me in contact with the shop. Making an appointment was easy and there was a $200 deposit. Steve drew up the design in a few minutes and finished the tattoo in about an hour and a half. I'll definitely be returning!

My friends & I ended up at Rock of Ages by chance. Joe did an amazing job creating my tattoo. He was very attentive to the details & really friendly. All 4 of my friends that got tattoos with him, loved their tattoos as well. Highly recommend!

Best shop in Austin TX hands down if not the best shop in the states. Everybody in the shop rips. Got tattooed by Tony who was awesome and nailed exactly what I wanted. Don’t come here if you’re looking for cheap sub par work, this is a professional no BS shop with high quality work. Tony was so awesome that he fit me in for a sternum tattoo after our session when he could have easily been done for the day. I wish I still lived in Austin because this would be the only shop I’d ever go to. Joe, Tony, Steve, and Kat are incredibly talented. Highly Highly recommended.

Steve Byrne made the exact tattoo I had envisioned, working hard to adjust the drawing a few times, which I know some artists can get annoyed by but Steve was totally accommodating and polite. On top of a killer design, the technical execution was masterful. I couldn't be happier with my experience and the tattoo itself. I will be going back to Steve for sure 👍👍

This place came recommended by a friend, but I, unfortunately, won’t get the opportunity to use them. I called to try to set up an appointment, but because I wanted something so simple for my FIRST tattoo, I was told to come in as a walk-in. When I showed up I was told that I couldn’t be helped for 4 hours. Funny, that’s why I tried to set up an appointment.
I can’t say if their work is good or bad, but I’ll say that their customer service may be lacking.

Probably the cleanest tattoo shop I've ever been to. Everything. Clean. Bathroom, behind stations, countertops. Sitting for a few hours getting a tattoo you have time to look around. Very friendly staff. I highly recommend this place.
