Phat Tats Tattoo & Body Piercing Studio

I stopped in to buy a piece of jewelry for my nose piercing. There was one person getting a piercing ahead of me and I just needed the jewelry. I sat and waited while they got their piercing and left and then another 20 minutes went by before I finally just left, because they ignored me for almost an hour. so yeah, that was great. I live over an hour away and I have an event tonight that I really wanted to wear a newb ring to. I guess if you’re not getting a piercing don’t waste your time trying to get jewelry.

We walked in at 7:15. There was one female asleep at her desk, and three other people in view. The only one that I saw working and drawing was the only person who addressed us. He was young and may potentially be an apprentice, but at least he acknowledged us.
The sign says “Walk-Ins” welcome, but I can assure you, we did not feel welcome. The female that eventually and reluctantly got up to help us was very clear in her frustration at our presence. We had already spoken to someone on the phone over an hour prior to arriving and even then, we didn’t have a very nice conversation with the female that answered the phone. She was super short and cold and very unhelpful. She said “I don’t know what’s going on but it’s not busy right now.”

$80 for a tattoo the size of a dime when I feel like I’m a burden on the artist? No thank you.
It’s ridiculous. I know how shops work and I know how pricing works. I absolutely would’ve been happy to have paid for services rendered had I known it was going to be done with care and passion being that it’s a permanent tattoo. I did NOT feel passion, except from the young gentleman drawing at the very front on the left. He may be an apprentice but again, I don’t know. I just know no one jumped up to help us and I just truly felt that I was absolutely ruining their whole entire day by showing up when again, I called over an hour prior and she was so dismissive on the phone.
Again, I would have been happy to pay the $80 minimum for a tiny tattoo had I felt like the artist - or ANY of the artists, including the one that was napping - actually wanted to make money.
But, we found another shop and we got in and out with smiles on ours faces.
And yes, I happily paid the $80 minimum.

Went in because my 19 year old wanted a tattoo. Big man did a lot of tats on my husband so I felt confident taking my kid there. Thank you Gabe for the art. Turned out exactly how she wanted it. Great place, friendly staff.

Gabriel did everything I asked for! He’s done two tattoos for me so far and I’ve been very happy with them both! Amazing artist and will definitely be my got to tattoo artist for sure!

I recommend this shop to everyone that asks about my tattoos. Sticking by my artist, Buda, he never fails to surprise me with his work. Very professional along with the other staff, and makes the customer feel right at home. He gives me exactly what I want in a tattoo, and if not, BETTER. Can’t wait to go back!

Mala did a great job free handing a feather as my cover up. Other places said it couldn’t be achieved so I went in asking for a bold blacked out rectangle to get it over with,thankfully that didn’t happen. 10/10

First of all. The shop is clean and well lit. Secondly, the staff are friendly and personable. My wife got a Helix piercing and Adam took great care in providing all of the options for jewelry, care and aftercare and placement. I'd post a pic but my camera is garbage and won't do justice to the quality of the piercing. If you find yourself in need of their services, stop by and see them. Cool, efficient, and thoughtful. Got my nose pierced and the visit was easy and fast and sanitary and the customer service was VERY helpful!

Fantastic place! Took my daughter there to get her ears pierced, Adam did a great job! Would totally recommend!

Went here years ago when they first opened got a tattoo from Big Man himself had an idea of what I wanted but wasn't sure how I wanted it to look and he came up with the perfect one for me came back two years later got a second tattoo from Aaron and loved it exactly what I asked for than brought my daughter to get her ears peirce by Big Man's daughter and will always go here and highly recommend. Only place I will ever go for my percing and tattoos.
