I'll give them two stars based off their cleanliness, other than that they're way over priced and that atmosphere is horrendous, suffocating and you can feel the tension between all the other artists at that.I paid $250 just for snake bites and the only reason it got paid is because my wife did all the paperwork and paid it while I was talking to the piercer to pick out my liprings. I didn't find out the price till after everything was set and done.
Now if you go to tattoo nation they have amazing prices and artists. They are very clean and dedicated, the atmosphere makes you feel very welcomed and their personalities are amazing.

I was visiting the area for our family vacation. 4 of us came in to get 3 tattoos and 4 piercing, we waited in the lobby for 30 minutes and no one ever came up from the back. We could hear them talking in the back. There was also guy and another lady that was also in there the same time. Everytime one of us would go in or out the door would buzz. So after waiting we took our business elsewhere

Hands down my favorite shop in South Texas. Awesome guys and gals, great atmosphere, spotlessly clean. Family run business, and it shows. Hope these guys are around for a long time. Shout out to Stephen, my regular artist! Unbelievable work, with more to come. Can’t wait!

My husband and I spoke with Stephen about having a very special custom piece done, he said he would have something drawn up for us to see by that Friday. Friday came and we wanted to see what he had done, but he hadn't even started... so we gave him another chance to show us something within a week and he said he doesn't normally start on a piece until the day before the appointment. We specifically asked for it to be done ahead of time so that we could work out anything we didn't like, and so we could schedule our vacations around the date of service... we were told in the Shop that first day that deposits WERE refundable unless you didn't show up for your tattoo appointment. So I just called to see about getting our deposit back and suddenly they are not refundable. I spent so much time researching great artists and putting together pictures for reference :-( Piss poor communication skills

This shop clearly has more business then it needs when I showed up for my appointment my artist did have a drawing but it wasn't what we talked about and she wouldn't listen to what I was asking. When I didn't like her drawing she just gave me my deposit and sent me on my way. She could of listened to what I want or referred me to another artist. It is a horrible feeling they shouldn't advertise if you can dream it we can draw it.

The best piercing experience in my life. I have many ear piercings on each ear (that I rarely wear) and I've had my nose pierced now four times and Sammie was the best. So amazing I let her to the intimate piercings I've wanted for a long time.... Expensive but that's what happens when you want quality work.. amazing

I have now been to Phat Tatts twice, once for an industrial piercing and today I went for my tattoo, each time was done by Sammi. She does an amazing job and her staff is excellent as well. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody who would ask. If you’re looking for professional, clean, and friendly place for a piercing and/or tattoo, this would be it.

Great place with an awesome atmosphere. I have gotten 4 big tattoos here and I will forever be recommending it. Jordan is my artist and I am completely happy with all of his work! Nothing but perfection leaves this shop!

Wonderful environment, super clean and professional. A little more expensive than some other piercers in town but it's worth every penny. The jewelery is gorgeous and high quality while Sammi herself is very professional. She was able to answer all my questions while calming all my nerves. Will definitely be coming back to her for all future piercings.

I love going to this place, such a clean shop and wonderful artist there. My mother and I got a spider tattoo done by Billy Mackey and they turned out better than I imagined! The colors on the jewel part of the spiders are so beautiful, a great finishing touch to our mother daughter tattoos!
