Lamar Street Tattoo Club

Josh is a good dude. The atmosphere of the shop is very laid back and they do a great job with their artwork. This being my first tattoo, and it being a simple one at that (I got a constellation, so basically 22 dots), I ran into some flack from other shops (*cough* Elm Street Tattoo *cough*) who painted me a novice and therefore not worthy of their time. Josh was the complete opposite, he actually thanked me for being able to provide me my first tat.

Great guy, great tattoo. 5 stars.

I have a gotten a 6 tattoos prior to the one I received today from Josh at Lamar Street Tattoo club and I can say without hesitation this was the best tattooing experience and final product that I have ever received. Josh was efficient, kind, and TALENTED. He made me feel right at home and ensured that I got the tattoo that I wanted. I have never been in such a welcoming tattoo environment. I will definitely be back! If I could give the location 10/5 stars I would!

This was THE best experience I've had getting a tattoo. As soon as you walk in the door you feel welcome, and comfortable. Josh was not only friendly, and professional, but he did a unbelievable job on my tattoo. I highly recommend J. Hall & Co. to anyone looking to get work done, Josh is honest, and his attention to detail is amazing. Awesome guys, awesome place. Definitely will go back to them when I am in the country.

I was looking to have an existing tattoo covered up, and was referred to Josh Hall at J. Hall and Co. Gentlemen Tattooers. I did some research and was very impressed. A very close friend of mine took me as surprise to Josh Hall. Not only did he do a fantastic job on the cover up, he was very professional and a super nice guy. My tattoo turned out fantastic and I was highly satisfied. The shop was amazing. Very clean and relaxing. I will most definitely get my next tattoo there and would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to get a tattoo! Those guys are GREAT! Keep up the good work J Hall and Co. My husband and I on a wimp date night randomly picked Lamar Street Tattoo from their google reviews. What a great experience they gave us! Clean NICE bathrooms (big deal in my book,) everyone was friendly and chill! Lastly both of our tattoos by Jake came out perfect! What a great date night! Can’t wait to get more added by them!

I had the best experience possible at J Hall and Co Gentleman Tattooers back in November. I knew I was coming to Dallas and wanted to get a tattoo while I was here, so after doing some research I decided to book an appointment with Josh. He didn't disappoint at all, as I had the best experience possible with him.

When I walked in I had a rough idea of what I wanted, but Josh was patient and really helped to make what I was thinking and visualizing in my head a reality. During the actual tattooing experience he did a great job making me and the people who came with me feel comfortable and at home with some hysterical banter, all the while checking in to make sure my experience was going as well as it possibly could. I absolutely love my new ink and loved my experience with Josh.

I liked it so much that when Josh stopped by me at a convention a couple weeks ago I immediately booked him again, and was yet again extremely pleased with the results .

I spent over a year researching where to get my first tattoo, and J. Hall and Co exceeded my expectations. Josh made me feel at ease as soon as I entered, and what I most appreciate is that he took the time to get to know me and what I wanted my tattoo to convey. I came in with a design and through our conversation, he drew an absolutely brilliant design so much better than what I had originally wanted. Josh has the gift of giving people the tattoo that they really want, but didn't know they wanted until they spoke with him. He is very insightful, a talented artist and I felt truly cared for. He even walked me to my car afteward. I continue to get compliments on how unique and beautiful my tattoo is. Thank you, Josh, for such a special tribute to my son!

Josh did an outstanding job of making the tattoo experience very comfortable. The shop in general is very relaxing and clean. I was very impressed with the conversation and knowledge of Josh. I had several questions and I appreciated the honesty of what would work and what wouldn't. I truly believe in trusting the artist and trust was established immediately. I cant't wait to get back in the shop and get more work done. I had an absolute blast. Great work.

I had the most amazing experience here. I love love my tattoo, I changed my mind about placement last minute and it was no problem. Josh was awesome and the tattoo went pretty quickly. Everyone there is great, the whole place has such a chill vibe it made the experience fun. I’ll be coming back for any future work.

This was the second tattoo I had done here. Josh is such a talented and amazing artist. He is quick and very detailed. I will always recommend him to anyone who is looking to get any type of work done. He’s great to be around and has no problem telling you how it is.
