Faces in the Dark Tattoo

Without a doubt, Tye Harris is the most talented tattoo artist for black//gray and portraits—I’d say for sure nationally and probably internationally although the U.S. artists traditionally do far, far better work (people come to the U.S. to get a high quality tattoo—not the other way around). Wouldn’t go to anyone else. He WILL. BE. A. LEGEND. so get an appointment while you still can. Tye and Becca are truly amazing people, fantastic business owners, and I’ve never had a better experience at any other tattoo shop. This place brings the state health and safety standards waaaay beyond what is required. The artists probably go through 2-3 whole boxes of gloves per session. EVERYTHING—every cord, screen, button, paper, tab—anything that might be touched—is covered with medical barrier film. Great music while you’re there, fun + hilarious people as a source of constant entertainment, awesome decor thanks to the talented Becca Grant, and very attentive to each client. They won’t let you go home with a half-finished piece. They’ll finish up at least a first pass (on larger tattoos) and an entire piece (on smaller tattoos) so you don’t look crazy walking around with half a face and an outline on your arm. I really can’t say enough great things about these folks. Been going to them since 2014 before they opened their shop and they’re solid, grounded people. All the artists book up very quickly — I just had a piece done (12/01/18) and first available for my next piece with Tye is April/May 2019. So save your $$ and get ready. I give them well over 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️➕

Schedule an appointment!! Just do it, totally worth the money and you'll end up with a beautiful tattoo! Juan Perez is an extremely talented artist and made my first time getting a tattoo really enjoyable! He knows his craft and works really well with the needs of his clients and made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process. I will definitely be going back to him for any future tattoos!

I just had my 39th birthday, and decided it was time to get my first tattoo. From the consultation to the actual sitting, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Joe was absolutely amazing, listened to what I wanted, and just blew me away with his work! The shop had a great vibe, and I felt completely at ease. I would recommend Joe and Faces in the Dark to anyone! I will definitely be back.

This place is absolutely amazing, they're staff is so friendly and the artists are very talented. My tattoo came out exactly the way a wanted it to, if you want a script tattoo Ceka Kitami is your girl. Plus the environment is so chill, and don't let the subtle sign fool you, you get what you pay for and it's worth every penny

Best tattoo shop hands down! I have been to many artists over the years and liked most all of them...but Cat at Faces in the Dark is the best I’ve been too! From sincerely listening to what I like and dislike she worked her magic and superb artistic abilities to produce a piece of my arm sleeve I could not be more proud to show off. Everyone working that day were nothing short of kind and professional...and FUN...which is one of my favorite parts of the tattoo experience. If I could give more stars I would!! I got my 5th tattoo with Tye and I was so excited given his talent. By far the best tattoo and the best experience ever!! I spent over 8 hours getting my work of art done and Tye made sure I was ok the whole time. The whole experience from beginning to end was fun! All of the artists here are fun and do amazing work!! All of my future tattoos and my families future tattoos will be done here. You can't put a price on the exceptional talent and experience you will have here!!

So their artwork speaks for itself, you can look them up on Instagram, Facebook and see how amazing it is so let me tell you about the place. From the moment you step into their place you feel welcome. Whether you are covered in tattoos or getting your first one they make you feel comfortable. I've been in a lot of tattoo shops but this is by far the cleanest, hospital grade environment I've witnessed. Flat screens on the wall, music, and top notch equipment. No place I've been to compares to Faces in the Dark. I've mainly dealt with Tye and Becca and they're awesome, but everyone in the shop is friendly. If you are looking for place to get your next tattoo look no further!

I came all the way from Ohio seeking out a tattoo ARTIST and not a person that just tattooed people. I came across an amazing tattoo artist name Tye Harris. Tye and staff were prepared and very clean. Tye out did himself with my grandma and I truly will never forget this moment. Thanks again Tye/Faces in the Dark Tattoo!!!!!

Stumbled across this shop about a year ago & have had a couple pieces done. Currently working on a full piece shoulder to shoulder & couldn’t be happier! All amazing artists with the upmost respect & care for every client! They make you feel like part of their family.

Ceka Kitami is a professional and master of her craft, period! Getting a tattoo was unchartered waters for me and Ceka made me feel extremely comfortable during the initial consultation and answered all my questions. My tattoo took about 4.5 hours and Ceka was dialed in and focused on me... the shop was very busy that day with 4 other folks receiving tattoos, which speaks volumes for Faces In The Dark artists... they’re all good. End result for me was a wonderful first time experience and a really well done Tattoo. I thought the stencil looked good and captured everything I was looking for... the tatto looks even better.
