"Faces In The Dark Tattoo was founded by owner Tye Harris. A Texan native, Tye spent several years doing guest spots and conventions before deciding to open our studio in 2016. Our goal was to bring quality artists and exceptional service to the city we are proud to call home Kyle, TX. We are a custom studio capable of all styles with an emphasis on realism and black and grey."

Joe had a hand so gentle I actually fell asleep while getting inked. Amazing attention to detail and texture. Really satisfied and happy with how it turned out. Also debunked some fallacies about aftercare and gave me some better moisturizers to try. Very impressed

Wife ultimately paid $170 for a very small, easy design (4 tiny dog paws). The artist did not use the design that was brought in and appeared aggravated and impatient when my wife wanted to use her design over a "stock design" that was improperly positioned. Initial $50 deposit was not applied to the total due to a so called redesign that was nothing more than a re-position. Managers were unwilling to resolve the issue. Hard to believe that they would ruin the customer's experience entirely over an easy fix. As a result, our repeat business is gone forever.
Im sure it was a rare incident, as they appear to have great reviews and were highly recommended by a great friend. Everyone has their bad days. Im sure they won't even miss our business... or yours, for that matter.

Very clean and professional looking spot. The guy I had did alright but wasn't organized. Blew an appointment and then had to consult other artists before finishing the tattoo which, seeing now, would not have looked as good without the outside help. Going elsewhere to finish up.

Explained my situation with work in the area and scheduling. They told me it was fine and u put a deposit down. They only booked me one date when it would require at least 2-3 appointments. They're now too booked to fit all of my appointments in before I leave the area due to work.
