What an awesome shop! When you walk in, the staff is friendly right from the start. What's even better? Rianne is an amazing tattoo artist. She is incredibly easy to talk to and work with and she really cares about every piece. I will definitely be getting more work done by Rianne and would absolutely recommend any of the artists at Golden Goat Tattoo.

Tattoo:
I got my first tattoo here in 2018 with Josh P. I requested a quote that had been handwritten in a book from the 1800's. I had brought in a photo copy of the quote and requested it in that font.
Instead the tattoo was free handed with a sharpie in a generic cursive that did not look like the font requested.
The was cursive was thin and a couple of the lines disappeared after a couple months so I asked the artist to touch it up. Rather than touching up only the parts that had disappeared, he went over the entire tattoo- causing it to be very thick. Now it is faded and illegible after only 3 years.

Piercings:
I recently went to have a new nose ring put in. The sized it and gave me a ring too big. After purchasing the $30 ring it took 30 minutes and two people to close the ring. I came home only to find that the ring is still about 3mm open- this is a constant irritant as it spins and gets stuck and looks funny.

Sean is a great guy! Very knowledgeable.

This place is absolutely amazing! I had my daith pierced by Sean. Let me tell you, that dude has the magic touch! He was very kind and patient with me because I was super nervous!! I will definitely be back!!!

Went in for a walk in appointment for a simple small tattoo. The shop was clean and professional looking, my artist was able to take care of me quickly and the tattoo itself took less than 15 min. It was my first tattoo and I was guided through the entire process from how it was going to feel to the healing. And I absolutely adore my tattoo and recieve a lot of compliments. Would definetly come here again

I feel fortunate to have been introduced to Josh Patrick, a fellow veteran, who listened to what I was looking for in a Tatto to commemorate my military service. He provided an artistic sketch, we consulted on some details and then he did an amazing job, artfully bringing that sketch to a piece of art. He added and blended colors that brought my concept to life. I highly recommend Josh. Thank you !

I went in on a Sunday for a consult on a tattoo. Talked to Josh about drawing up a design and possibly doing the tattoo on Saturday that same week. He said he would email me in a couple days with some sketches. I had sent an email with my design ideas that same night to give him a direction to go. Heard nothing via email, phone, etc. for 4 days despite my attempts to contact him. I cannot speak for the shop as a whole, but Josh was very unprofessional and inconsiderate. I would highly discourage working with him as an artist. If you can’t deliver on your promises as a professional in your field, then you really shouldn’t have that job in my opinion. Will be taking my business elsewhere. All this accomplished was wasting almost a week of my time. Wish I could give negative stars.

I was looking to get three tattoos on my left leg, a friend recommended me to Hector Gonzales. We started to communicate via Facebook messenger since I have a hard time speaking directly. We started messaging on 11/7/18 made an appointment for 11/14/18 discuss art wanting. I advised him I wanted to get Johnny Bravo, Speedy Gonzales, spy vs spy. We booked appointment for 12/1/18 for 1pm. 11/14/18 messaged to see anything drawn up & response received was to send some ideas 11/23/18. 11/27/19 sent message about not finding what I am looking for & seeing if he can draw something creative still nothing was done. At this point I was already Leary however I trusted my friend since she knew the guy personal. Deposit was paid on 11/14/18 no turning back. 12/1/19 1pm no Hector, Not only was he extremely late nothing was drawn. Instead he printed off the internet which is not what I wanted at all. I had somewhere to be at by 7:00pmcst & was advised plenty of time for all three to be done. By the time Hector printed out pictures & setup his work space it was already 3:45pmcst. Johnny and my Spy vs Spy completed, speedy Gonzales was not. Hector stated lets work it out & come back to get that done with your deposit. We agreed & the worst thing happened I broke my foot on 12/11/18. I sent a message letting everyone know I broke my foot & lets do a different tattoo. 1/15/19 I sent message saying whats the word, meaning whats the deal lets get the tattoo complete since you have my money. I received response stating, I don't understand the question your looking to book for your leg?" I'm glad the person I had as an advocate spoke up and said no a different one since the foot is broken. NO RESPONSE, I messaged 2/16/19 asking when can this taken care of, expressing dissatisfaction I was having with Hector & his work ethic not his art. He response shop minimum is $60 so you will have to pay $10 difference. 4/8/19 asking when does Hector have time so that we can go over some ideas I had for the finishing tattoo. On 4/10/19 was told out of the shop till 4/24/19 I could send pictures of what I am looking for. 4/14/19 I sent picture & idea of how I wanted angle wing to go down my arm around other tattoos 6 to 7 feathers nothing too serious since my arm is already full of tattoos. 4/19/19 I received a message stating, Yeah I'm down sorry I'm on vacation at the moment. I sent message back letting him know it was all good & to enjoy his vacation. 4/30/19 I message asking when we can schedule. NO response. 5/5/19 I sent another message asking when we can get this done so I stop bothering him. He then sent a response 5/19/19. I sent sounds great. Appointment for angle wing 6:00pmcst on 5/19/19. 5/19/19 I sent a message asking to see the drawing prior to our appointment, Responded saying you wanted several things I just want to clarify what is getting done today. I responded my wing. He then stated on your leg? Told him my arm. Asked if he was ready & prepared because I didn't want to show up like I did on 12/1/18.I then got multiple messages stating he is not trying to be rude has been doing this for 8 yrs and that there isn't a tattoo he couldn't do & that he had the drawling he would show me once he got to the shop. I drive out there 10 mins late but I made it with the understanding that my wing was drawn up & ready to go. Instead when I show up he is printing off the internet a basic angle wing. WOW! Then wants to tell me he is going to charge me $650 for it. We agreed upon $175 an hour. He then stated he would have to due this in two sessions because he can only tattoo for 2 hours at a time. I then asked do you have the Speedy Gonzales at least drawn up from December of 2018, & the response I received was no. I then told Hector that just is not going to work & that was not what was agreed upon. I received my deposit back & went on my way. I'm grossly disappointed in the way a business can allow an artist to Not actually be prepared, ready or following through with their promises. Now to find a new artist!

I got a tragus piercing here. I told the piercer that the jewelry looked too short, but he said that it wasn't, so I took his word for it and went home. Turns out, I was right. Two weeks later, my piercing had swelled slightly, as new piercings do, but because the jewelry was so short, it was extremely painful, didn't heal, and began to show signs of being infected. I had to go to someone else to get the jewelry replaced with something longer. The new piercer could barely get a grip on the jewelry because my piercing was so swollen. If I had waited even another day, it would have been impossible to remove. Thankfully, after 10 minutes of digging around in my ear, the new guy somehow managed to get it out and replace it with a longer piece of jewelry. I'm lucky I didn't have to get surgery.

I've never paid so much for a piercing before and its the worst I've had by far (out of 18, so that says something). The work is so shoddy keloids have developed, not to mention the guy pierced it with a different style of hardware than i requested, so after several months, I have had to go pay another shop to help me replace it with the proper hardware so that it can heal...not that it matters now that I have a huge, ugly scar on my nose. Please don't get pierced here. You'll save yourself about $50 initially plus whatever pain, money and headache you have to spend fixing their mistake.
