Vanessa is your girl if you want the best quality of a piercing experience here in San Antonio. The shop is always clean and the other staffers are just as friendly and helpful as she. I have super sensitive skin to metal and Vanessa is not only knowledgeable, but is always happy to educate you on your jewelry choices. Seriously I have been going only to her for years now and I can't wait for our future projects.

Hannah was literally the most gentle tattoo artist I have ever had. I did not know tattoos could hurt this little. I love my tattoo so much and I’m so happy I came here on a whim! I definitely want to make a future appointment with Hannah. Also the cutest shop I have ever been to I love the decor and atmosphere!

I came in today to get a Halloween flash piece Richard posted and he did absolutely phenomenal on it ! He was super quick with everything and the shop was beautiful. I’m a local tattoo artist here in San Antonio so I heard about him through other tattoo artists and I’ve been obsessed with his work ever since. Definitely coming back for more ink !

I found Richard on Instagram, and fell in love with his work. After doing hours of research, I confirmed his line work is better than any other artist I could find in South Texas. It was worth the wait for the best! I gave Richard artistic freedom on my design and it turned out amazing. I am very careful to make sure I love the art of my tattoo, so ill be going back to Richard for any future tattoos.

Great experience! Richard is a great guy who does a good job making the client feel comfortable and safe. His line work is superior as well as his color work. I received 3 roses on the armpit area (DON’T DO IT) & Richard was very accommodating when I needed to rearrange my position. I was extremely happy with the outcome! Came out exactly as I envisioned. Excited to get back into the shop!

I have been getting tattooed by Richard for at least 7 years now. His portfolio is filled with amazing work but his care for his clients, along with that skill is what keeps him in such high demand. Definitely one of the best and most diverse tattoo artists in SA. So happy to see he finally has his own shop along with Tru Piercings. If you are looking for a reputable, well educated and experienced piercer, look no further. Vanessa is the best with a diverse selection of high quality jewelry to choose from. She has everything from titanium to actual gold to choose from and a vast variety of cute designs and jewels. Wanting some custom jewelry? She can order that for you as well. I can not recommend this shop enough and though I have yet to get work done by the other two artists that tattoo there, their portfolios and client’s praise speaks for it self. This is definitely going to be the hottest new shop in SA.

I would give more than 5 stars if possible! Richard has been doing my tattoos for awhile now and he always does amazing work. He’s extremely professional, makes sure everything’s sanitary, and always takes his time to ensure you get the best tattoo. He can take your ideas and bring them to life! If you want an amazing tattoo that’s sure to get compliments look no further than this shop!

I got my first tattoo by Richard and it was awesome made me feel comfortable and he did an amazing job. I always get compliments on how sharp and clean it looks. I will definitely be getting another from him soon. Hes a great guy and we have kept in touch and he makes you feel like family!

I’m a repeat customer of Clair’s. She did my first piece with another company and the experience with her was everything I could ask for. When I called them to schedule my second, and they said she left, I hunted her down to find out where she moved to. She is honestly the best artist I could ask for. Not only is she talented and knowledgeable, but she’s extremely friendly and personable. We wind up having such great conversation that I don’t even notice the pain of the tattoo. Richard is an amazing tattoo artist. I love the tattoo he gave me, and he has progressed so much as an artist. His customer service skills are amazing, he's kind and laid back. If you're hesitant, don't be. You've found one of the best artists out there.
