I went in to get my septum pierced and the staff was super kind and knowledgeable, he could tell I was nervous ho he made some jokes to calm me down. The environment seemed natural and didn’t make me overwhelmed. I really enjoyed this experience, thank you so much!!

A few weeks ago i went in for a lip piercing. the needle going through my lip was the only part i didn’t have a bad experience with. First off, he was extremely rough with my lip trying to get the backing on. He dropped the backing once and then tried to screw it on again. He dropped it again, this time grabbing a different backing. Took him about 2 minutes putting me through a whole lot of unnecessary pain. the piercing he gave me which was a stud wasn't even long enough to accommodate for the swelling so i ended up having to switch it out, otherwise the piercing would’ve sunk into my lip. overall a terrible experience, there’s no way he fully knew what he was doing. when i tried to get in a different piercing he didn’t even pierce it straight so i couldn’t get it in. $50 down the drain. i went to frankie at skin stories in spring and got it pierced on the other side and it was a 10/10 experience. no bruising either. Come here for piercings at your own risk :/

I had a large poly tribal done here by Tiger John and could not have been happier. Had two long sittings and really enjoyed the folks here and could not have been treated better. I am looking at a large japanese dragon and have no plans to go elsewhere! Just returned from Hawaii and received the ultimate compliment on my tribal from two tattoo artists who took pictures of my tatt and could not say enough about the alignment and line work.

I have a severely raised and scarred tattoo that I got from the owner of Epic 13 tattoos. I regret ever having gotten work from this shop and from this artist. I brought a photo of some script that I wanted (the last photo pictured) - Two words in a simple cursive on my back. The artist proceeded to print out different font options for me on a piece of paper and none of them were remotely close to what I was hoping for, but after a several sheets of completely different options that weren't close to what I brought in, I settled for one. The tattoo he gave me immediately raised and to this day remains RAISED and SCARRED and even with a cover that I'm hoping to get soon, the scarring he caused me is undoable. The script is illegible and not a single person knows what it says without asking me. That being said, I would not recommend this shop to anyone.

Consulting with Jimbo was mind-blowing! I thought I knew what I was looking for to cover a terrible tattoo and was terrified it would have to be huge. The amazing ideas he had to integrate the linework and colors are soooo exciting! I almost can't choose! So pleased to be working with such a talented and professional artist! I can't wait to see the end results!

I got my septum pierced for $40 in January and I was pierced low and at a bad spot later on in February I got re pierced at Biolab piercing studio for $50 which I very much love I also got my smiley pierced that same day and I absolutely love it. But please do not get your septum pierced here I also never got a refund or compensation. When I complained to the piercer he agreed to pierce my septum again but I wasn’t going to take any chances.

Turned me away because they claimed to be at capacity with almost no one there. Didn’t even bother to ask me about what I wanted. Hint I wanted a small tattoo and I tip big. I will not ever try to go here again. Wish I could rate 0 stars. Rude

Clearly the owners response says it all.
Customer service goes a long way. You can always say “hey unfortunately I can’t get you in tonight but I’d love to know what you want to get done so we can set up an appointment for another day. I do apologize I can’t fit you in tonight” instead of just saying “we can’t fit you in tonight.” If you had approached me differently I would understand people working long hours and schedule an appointment for another day. But if you are going to treat customers terribly with awful customer service then I will take my money and business somewhere else.

Jimbo does some of the most amazing work in Houston. Whether it be hyper realistic, cover up work, or just refreshing some old work this is the place to go. Make sure that you check them out before you get your next tattoo and they will make sure you don’t make a permanent mistake.
