I received my first tattoo a couple of months ago from Sarah and it looks incredible!! My sister also got a matching sunflower and it also looks awesome. I would recommend this shop to anybody in a heartbeat. I also follow other artists that work here just to see there incredible tattoos and artwork. I will definitely be getting another tattoo from this shop!

This is my favorite tattoo place and the tattoo artists here are incredible. You can absolutely trust that you will get a high quality tattoo and that you will be safe here. The owner does run an Instagram page called Safe Tattoos Utah, that has been a lifesaver. The page highlights incredible artists around the area, but also warns against tattoo places that are not so safe. I have gotten tattoos from two of the artists here: Alex and Amber. The experience with both of them was fantastic and I got beautiful tattoos that receive constant compliments. Every tattoo I have gotten in the past year has been tattoo artists I found off of the Safe Tattoos Utah page. Every single artist did absolutely jaw dropping work. This means a lot, as I have a older tattoo from somewhere else that scarred my skin. Finding that safe tattoos Instagram page prevented it from happening again. I absolutely recommend Locust Tattoo, you will be extremely happy with your tattoos :)

Sarah helped me when I felt so defeated. I got a “tiny tattoo” from someone trained in a few days. It looked terrible and I was very frustrated but felt hopeless. Sarah set me up with Derek who did a badass coverup. High quality work and he did it in exceptional time. I highly recommend this studio. Very professional and supportive. She’s spending her personal time trying to save people from the “fine line” “tiny tatt” SCAM! It shows how much she cares about her work.

The owner Sarah Pauline de Azevedo is a mediocre tattooer that loves to bully and slander other local artists online.
She tattooed me several years ago and I had to get it fixed by someone else because she refused to.
Maybe she should focus on improving her own art instead of tearing other people down?

Highly unprofessional, looking at reviews and the responses given from the location I would high recommend diverting your business to a shop like big deluxe, gypsie soul, yellow rose or even state street tattoo which I believe used to be Doc holidays place prior. A professional business no matter the review rating should always remain professional at all costs and that is clearly not the case with locust tattoo.

Alyssa is a great artist! I’ve gone to her twice for tattoos, one was a partial coverup/rework of something and she did such a great job. I get tons of compliments and she makes the process easy and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone looking to get some black and grey stipple shading, that’s her jam.

I love this place! I am a regular of Amber here and I love the vibe everyone in this studio has. It seems like a genuinely fun place to work, and they give absolutely gorgeous tattoos.
Parking is a little tight and the road Locust is on has construction almost constantly so keep that in mind when you go!

Clean, profesh, and true to the craft, if you want tattoos done by actual tattooers and not nail techs I would highly recommend Locust!
