Chris Hornsby is extremely talented. I'm going to him for a large tattoo that starts on one arm, crosses my back, and goes to the other arm. I've had several sessions with him and every session so far he's been on time. He's very patient and listens to you, and incorporates your thoughts into his artwork. The detail in his tattoos are breathtaking. I will add pictures as he finishes sections on me. He pays close attention to cleanliness. In addition to his mad art skills he has a calm demeanor which makes me feel very comfortable. His There's only a few parking spaces and his workspace is a bit hidden being upstairs via a side entrance but I've never had an issue with parking availability even though I thought I probably would. I highly recommend Chris as a matter of fact I can't imagine going to any other tattooist

I'd never had a tattoo before but had thought about it for years. Finally at age 63 I bit the bullet and Emily did the loveliest tattoo for me. I'm thrilled, and will return to Emily if I decide I just might need another one!

Came here for my first tattoo and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere is different from other tattoo parlors I scoped out, and Chris has a super light hand. Several of my coworkers recommended this place, and I'm 100% glad I went. Everything Chris uses is pre-sterilized and is only used once to ensure clean materials.
He works at about $100/hour, but he's really fast and the quality is fantastic, so it's definitely worth the money. The whole process from design to completion only took about an hour, and he was very involved with helping me keep calm through the whole thing. He figured out really quickly that if he kept me updated on how much he had left in a section, it helped calm me down, and towards the end (where he was working right over some ligaments in my wrist) he asked me questions to keep my distracted.
Hands-down and awesome experience, and I will be going back in January for my next tattoo.

This is a great place to go I had a massage there and they were so detailed took care of every little pain and tight muscle and also I have several friends that have gotten tattoos there and they're very detailed and do outrageous colors and outrageous designs I would recommend this to everybody

This place was awesome. They took care of my daughter with excellent care. It didn’t faze them at all when we told them about my daughter being prone to seizures because of her epilepsy. Wanted to make sure she was comfortable. The artist Chris does custom designs and portraits. Has a book full of custom designs. We even brainstormed about a custom venom piece on my arm battling Spider-Man I definitely would reccomend this place for anyone. He didn’t hesitate to answer any of our questions and had a wonderful attitude the whole time trying to make it a memorable experience. My daughter definitely going back for more work and she gets a lot of compliments over her ink.

This is the best place in Charlottesville to get a tattoo or a massage I've been there multiple times the masseuse takes their time talks to you gets to know you works on your worst areas of the most pain then also the tattoo staff are so detailed they make sure every little millimeter is perfect
